I've had my Mk. 24 V2 for about 4 months now, and she has been through a lot. This is my first larger scale RC plane (going directly from the HH Ultra Micros). Needless to say, she isn't in perfect shape anymore, with scratches, dents, and tape holding her together in more than a few places, and I needed to repair her from the get go because the fuselage came completely cracked. But she is sure as heck a great flying plane. I flew her for the 9th time today and I think I've finally mastered landing it, and I can loop and roll her all over the place. Absolutely locked in when flying. Got it on sale for $160, another $40 for a 6 channel receiver and 4s 2200mah battery, and if you can get it for that price it is a great deal.
@@zdwaffles It does not come with a LIPO charger, all you get is the plane itself and basic electronics, no receiver, no transmitter, no battery, no charger. You will need to buy a balance charger that can handle 4S charging and the proper charging adapter. The ESC in the Spit is XT60, so make sure you get an XT60 charging cable with your balance charger.
@@njsullyalex2744 ok thanks for the info looking to order one this week making sure i have everything i need... looking at the nanotech 2200mah 70c battery on hobbyking, would that be a suitable battery for this plane?
@@zdwaffles Is the battery a 4s? I use a 2200 4s with my spit and it runs great. Also, since I made the comment above over a year ago, to clarify, I still have and fly my Mk. 24, it is just even more beat up than before and needs a new prop. But I still love it and my opinion from before is unchanged. You will absolutely love it!
@@njsullyalex2744 yes its a 4s i was just curious if the discharge rate would be too high... also looking at the turnigy 9x rx/tx ... good for this plane ?
Great plane. Makes a difference from never ending releases and re-releases of Piper Cubs and P51 Mustangs as you get with other US hobby companies. Any chance we can get these unpainted in the future for custom paint schemes/liveries?
@@HobbyKingOfficial thanks I just completed it. I asked for sub 250g spitfire and Lancaster Bomber :) but not concept models like Seafire (authentic models are better)
I see the left side flap servo is still in the wrong position as it was in the V1 , why didn't you fix the design flaw in this V2 , you just built it didn't you see the fault.?
still got mine still like new 5 years later, fly it every year these are amazing

Is it correct set CoG with the landing gears extended (takeoff and landing situation) and plane upsidedown?
what camera was used on the wing?
HobbyKing, for 3S setup, which battery do you suggest? And do I need to add weight ontop?
How do you balance a five-blade prop? Maybe a video on that?
Is the foam finish the same as the Durafly MK5 And MK 1 spits? I hear they are second to none!
also, are you going to release a sub 250g version?
thanks
Thanks so much for your suggestions, please help us fill in the survey bit.ly/2Ic7AqV
