Galena Park ISD Fine Arts & Stem Academies

Galena Park ISD is thrilled to announce we are expanding our academy programs for elementary students in East Harris County. Last year, GPISD opened our first elementary academies with a focus on STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) at Galena Park and Havard Elementary Schools. This year, we are opening two new academies, at Cimarron and Pyburn Elementary Schools, which will be centered on Fine Arts. These academies are open to all GPISD students in grades K-5 as well as children of GPISD employees and families outside GPISD wishing to transfer their student to one of these specialized elementary schools. That’s right, you don’t have to live in GPISD to attend one of our elementary academies!
