I'm very fortunate to say that my very first metal concert experience was Demolition Hammer, Devastation, and Malevolent Creation at Bogart's in Cincinnati Ohio!!!! Demolition Hammer just released Epidemic Of Violence, Devastation just released Idolatry, and Malevolent Creation just released their debut album The Ten Commandments!!!! Very brutal concert indeed!!! I'll even go out on a limb and say I love Demolition Hammer's Time Bomb album that probably a lot of people don't know about and or like. It's a little different from their first two releases, but none the less, still brutal. I like it at least.
@@daviddattilo9378 dude probably just meant "great metal vocalist" is all. Sheeeesh!!! At this concert dude is probably somewhere in his late 50's ( early 60's now because this video is 6 years old) belting out "beautiful singing"!! Ha!! See what I did there!!??...but dude is right about Steve being a great front man despite his years!!
Damn, so glad this band got back together alongside with Dark Angel, Morbid Saint, and Coroner. We can expect a brand new Coroner album likely already next year with all the original members! So fucking stoked! This is a good time for us old school thrashers
Internet power. I had no idea in the early 90s what existed. In the last ten years I have explored throughout the years to refine my current taste. Demolition Hammer definitely deserves their due so their due so it was great to hear the "we used to play to five people" statement, recognizing as they did a greater interest today and at that show. I hope to hell I get a chance to see them live.
@@mtp6572 Man, it was so brutal. Small bar all age show, maybe 150 people, 1-2 ft high stage, right in your face. I was 16 and always just going to all age punk shows. Didn't even plan on going, I was just out skating and saw all the freaks lined up to get in so in I went. Blood in the pit, nothing like the puny punk shows I was familiar with. All in ever since. Pits have gotten much gentler since those days.
Saw these guys back in 1992 with Cryptopsy, Cancer and Deicide at The Brick in Montreal! Been a fan ever since! They totally destroyed! A new album would be nice!
Relentless. Ceaseless. Crushing. I still remember the day Epidemic of Violence arrived in my buddies mailbox after waiting a week, we both went halfsies on it and back then this shit was obscure as fuck so we didnt have a way to listen to it before buying it from some metal mag but man when we popped EoV in it blew my fucking mind! Hands down one of the best bands I've ever listened to in this genre! I heard Demo Hammer was getting back together and was stoked as fuck but then I found out they weren't coming to the west coast glad they did it though. I'd buy a ticket in a heartbeat if they came out here.
Damn I wasn’t expecting this. I love to see old men kicking ass, often the years are unkind especially with physically demanding metal like this. I’ve been a Demolition Hammer fan ever since that first Eeeaaahh laup… scream. I’m glad they didn’t release a dozen crappy albums. Two solid classics, that’s all you need imho.
I am so glad that they are back and kicking all the asses.Still tight as fuck! Hell, Steve even sounds like angrier than his early days!To thrash we all unite!
Got my very first tattoo from Vinny Daze (R.I.P.) in 1991 in Cincinnati after their show at Bogarts, on the DH, Malevolent Creation and Devastation tour. Wish I could have come up for this reunion show. Looks like it was fuckin' sick!

I love epidemic of violence alot but I like time bomb just as much and I don't understand why they never play anything off of that album live.. I mean Alex Marquez on the drums on that record just made it so fn heavy man.. not to mention the riffs on that album were super fn heavy and it had that groove metal thing goin on as well.. imo that album was their best.. epidemic was more aggressive and brutal, but time bomb was better..imo.. it's demolition hammer tho.. all of their stuff is sick as fuck.. and they sound amazing on this video.. thanks for sharing.. Cheers from Cincinnati Ohio USA..
Saw them back in the day supporting Massacre I think. Had the pleasure of meeting Vinny. Cool guy. Strange to say but what I remember most is how nice he smelled.
DH is one of my favourites. One of the best bands of thrash metal I ever heard. I thought they were out of the road but I see they are a Demolition Hammer of Thrash metal. Fucking awesome.
Wow man.. fuckin destroying shit!! Demolition hammer fuckin rules.. one of the heaviest thrash/death metal bands ever! And dudes voice is just mean as hell sounding.. Rip Vinny daze..
