Wow, I saw that last push and I was like "oh man, TLO may be in trouble here!" - then I saw like 40 marines in one big ball locked up against the wall as banelings came in from the east and everything else came in from the north as the fungals landed. Holy shit that ended quickly!
That was the most boring game I ever saw. The Zerg controls 90% of the map but can't finish the game. Is that still Wings Of Liberty game? I think in the last 10 games I never saw any Hearth Of Swarm unit except Widow Mine, and maybe 1 Oracle. How is that a 3 base Terra can keep a fully tech Zerg at bay with just marines, medis and window mines? I miss good old Broodwar. Those games are still exciting and never I saw a stale game like that. Only in the rare case of TvT after 40+ minutes when both are maxed with Battle Cruisers.
That's the fundamental design flaw of WoL that was not addressed on HotS (actually things got even worse): Terran CAN stim roll you. If a Zerg player is stuck on three bases and Terran owns the rest of the map, chances to achieve victory are around 0%..
Mines were OP, as Marine Mine Drops always seemed to be much more effective considering getting even one shot off on anything was normally worth the price. Considering they are the goto counter to stalker with no detection, yeah, the mines of god are op.
Two suggestions: - don't record mouse movements - (more generally) disable the error audio (ie spawn more overlords) when recording yourself playing Other than that, I love all you casters
Most of zergs I've seen lately tend to go with zergling-baneling-muta. You don't see ultra every game (given that it's pretty lategame), so that's at least something.
Agreed: I hope that with LotV we get some good mid game units so that we see something new, especially for the bloody Terrans : sick of MMM! I'd like to see some Mech, wish they make more mech units as for Protoss they need som sort of unit that HEALS protoss damaged units
Hmmm even if he did manage to pull it off TLO's defense woud've been strong enough to let those 9 ultra's to be finished+ having almost full map with creep and bases
This game casts how easy it is to win a Terran and how hard it is for a Terran to leave the base wen ya have mutas flying around, mass turrents, bunkers, pff who cares mutas regenerate and snipe everything anyway... i find hilarious how players still complain about widow mines.
When terran army gets roflstomped by infestors and banelings, I never hear they are "OP". Whenever zergies lose, they QQ all over the place calling any unit they lost to to be OP. You make your own conclusion.
Yes, Zerg is definately OP :(( not only because of the OP mutas Widow mines can be picked up by a bunch of mutas very quick & easy... so widow mines are just a bad joke at all -.-

If you have the money for it, as Zerg, you can go above 200 supply by making a ton of spines, starting units, and then canceling the spines.
it is unfortunate that even when zerg is miles ahead they cant end the game out right like the other races can.
