If u want pocket friendly budget machine then go for ns400z but u can't ignore premium machine rtr 310.

Hero engine is very good. It can pull from 30 in 4th gear itself. Very good torque motor. Very good for hilly terrain

Hero didn't copy it's designe from any manufacture but they just enhanced the design of its own discontinued bike Hunk.
