I have nx350 2023 and I love it, very similar but I gotta say, the RX is just a touch fancier. I wish the nx came with the same style external and internal. Still, I prefer the nx size so I’d stick with it.
As a non Lexus owner..I have never been a fan of the previous generation because of the front grill. It was just too big for the size of the car. IMO. But I do like the new one and so does my wife. She wants it over an Audi and BMW to my surprise.
On the design front, I'm digging the changes Lexus has made. The aggressive yet sleek appearance is a departure from what I expected. The grille is definitely an attention-grabber, and the wide front bumper gives the vehicle a more distinctive look.

I ran a 2015 X5 diesel M sport for years, but with that comes high maintenance costs, especially with the diesel DEF system. I recently sold it and was able to recoup 25% of its original cost of $100,000, good thing I didn’t buy it new. But I just ordered a brand new 2024 RX 350 H ultra luxury in pearl white and pick it up after Canada Day.
BMW x5 does all of this and better. Talking about the latest model 2024. Both their diesel mild hybrid engines are top. Quality etc unprecedented. Price is the same
I believe the vehicle you have has the executive package not the Luxury+. Mark Levinson speakers, seat extender among a few more options are not in the Luxury+
Long time Lexus driver. Very disappointed in the new 2023 RX 350. Traded in my 2021 RX 350 for the NX 350h. Happy with the NX but miss the wood trim on the interior. My only complaint is the cheap plastic detail…. Oh, those run flat tires are a ridiculous choice.
Only disappointed that the 23RX was a 4 cylinder. The Lexus 6 cylinder engine was so good. Now the NX 4 Cylinder Hybrid is really enjoyable. Responsive and a fun drive. Do I miss the floaty soft ride of the RX, no, the NX is firmer, gone is the body sway on curves. Rather than missing the 6 cylinder engine, I’m enjoying the better suspension,
Nice looking vehicle but underpowered compared to GV70, fake air curtains in front, plastic roof rails, piano black on front bumper, CVT....hmmmm, not sure if it is worth the price compared to competition.
I looked at a gv 70, the RX is bigger I dont fit in the Gv, but the gv80 I did but it felt too big, so opted for the in between size.. however I got the RX 500h and it was 88k canadian a GV80 is around 80K... I questioned the price as well, but its quieter and a bit more nimble than the GV80, it is what it is I guess.. I think part of the price is the "Lexus" price tag, but it is super nice to drive.. im happy.
The GV70 design hit it out of the park. I just heard many stories about horrible experience with the service center and it seems they do have some quirks still :S
its smaller than the RX.. the RX is a bit of an odd size, its sort of between a lot of other brands, in between the X3 and X5 in size, and gv70 and gv80 in size.. Glc and Gle also..
@@keska01 I had bad experiences with Lexus. I bought my a Tucson PHEV 2023 ultimate, Santa Fe preferred 2023 and Tucson 2019 from the genesis dealership and they have Been fantastic

The engine leaked oil, fuel system had failed, alternator died...3 times, battery replaced 4 times, fuse box got fried, exhaust pipe had leaks, and 1 major manufacturer defect I saw on all is350s the driver and passenger side mirrors had cheap aluminum parts that were not sealed so there was a white streak and stains going down the door from side mirrors which was uncleanable and Lexus refused to take responsibility. And it was serviced at Lexus of Lakeridge the entire time. Never again a Lexus
The emblem is actually heated because that’s where the distance radar is housed (dynamic cruise control and auto-brake). Also, it’s a Lexus not a Toyota. Would you review and Bentley and call it a VW?
@@Hat65 they are not the exact same, but whatever. They may have the same parts but the quality translated over from the Toyota to the Lexus is amplified with luxury. Trust me, there’s a Toyota, Lexus, and Volvo in my driveway.
I was pretty sure I was gonna get one of these until I heard CVT. I’ll test drive it still. Regarding EV, Lexus does have an EV, so not sure what you mean by they haven’t jumped on that yet
Lexus / Toyota isn’t going full throttle into electric cars is what Mike meant. They are pushing hybrids and taking it slow with EVs. Whereas other brands are going full EV by 20230
you are wrong, they have gone electric, The RZ has been out and you are a bit behind as a car review you need to keep in mind your audience isn't just his and hers as you do your armrest review on cars . Not many will support you on that, especially in Canada.
That powertrain feels inadequate for this mid/full size SUV. 7.7 seconds for a 0-100 sprint is not acceptable in 2023 for a premium brand. Should have aimed for something closer to 7. That Engine combo is ok for a NX size, but with an RX it's not enough.

Yep, my wife’s 24 NXH is a great little SUV. She wanted the RXH but I was not keen on writing a $63k check. $51K NXH is more palatable.
I have the 2023 RX350 in Imminent Pearl White...I love it!! I had the 1999 RX300 with 310k miles...it sold in 30 minutes.❤
