2000s post hardcore was a great era. No one can tell me otherwise.
I got into pop punk and post hardcore when I was in high school. I got into bands like finch, senses fail, silverstein, hawthorne heights, the used, the red jumpsuit apparatus, story of the year, and aiden. I also liked sum 41, simple plan, good charlotte, blink 182, green day, yellowcard, fall out boy. I also got into bands like, chiodos, funeral for a friend, from autmn to ashes, I am ghost, on the last day, a change of pace, saosin, afi, lovehatehero, drop dead gorgous, from first to last, the fall of troy, stutterfly, eyes set to kill, alexisonfire, and emery. but I never bought there music I just knew through myspace, fuse and pure volume.
@@MikeDunne You've got fantastic taste!
@@MikeDunne TASTEEE
@@MikeDunneyour doing good my friend.
@@MikeDunneu just forgot. New found glory & underoath.
Holy shitttttt this might be some of the earliest footage of them
most def, earliest i had seen was the footage from their documentary
1:16 - 5:17 Steven
6:19 - 10:12 Free Fall Without A Parachute
10:45 - 14:18 Bloody Romance
15:24 - 18:47 Bastard Son
19:23 - 23:48 Dreaming a Reality
26:10 - 29:16 The Irony of Dying on Your Birthday
30:10 - 33:57 187
Gracias! 🤘🏼
I love the early version of “Irony” from Let it Enfold You. It sounds completely different here.
26:05
it's so so cool
I was at this show. Holy shit, great find dude.
HELL yeah dude I been looking for some really old senses fail live footage and had trouble finding anything older than 2004
fack dude, dan was only 15 years young, he was just a kid but its crazy how mad talented he was for his age
He was still in school. He's only 3 years older than me. I was 12 at this time
He’s a smart talented fuckin dude. I hope to be able to play as good as him even 15 year old Dan can play 5 times smoother than I can.
Thank you for posting this

This whole set is remarkable. Brings goosebumps
This venue too man. Community centers and VFWs were the best shows.
And of course dive bars.
I saw SF on Taste Of Chaos and that was an indoor arena, and they were the weakest band on the ticket. Seeing a band in a small venue can be so much better.
Some bands just don't work as well in an arena.
My personal favorite was always the Ottobar in Baltimore. Seen a lot of bands there.
@@drownthepoorit’s because buddy is horrible live. I was then In 2005 taste of chaos when. Killswitch engage & the used was headlines. Well the used started the taste of chaos tour.
@@johnmoyarbmg5845 Yeah Buddy was the weakest part of the band IMO.
I didn't like vocals from the guitar player who screams either.
This is great man, thanks for the upload. This was my teenage years!
Been listening to senses fail the last month. The nostalgia. This is so amazing I love it
The ep. & the first 2 albums are the best.
Oh my god. This is absolutely amazing.
This album made me fall in love with rock. I started a garage band with my best friends, played live shows for my high school. Married my HS sweetheart. Best time to be alive. Nothing is better than jamming hard with deafening amps and drums. Thank you Senses Fail.
Watching this on December 30, 2020.
Wow. Didn't know "Irony" was written this early. Pretty cool to see this!!
I like how the pre chorus and chorus are different and the name was "Tragedy is Satire" or something
It wasn't technically written it was a demo version before they actually recorded it with lyrics. To make it a track buddy was just screaming & freestyling
I had let it enfold you easily a year before it came out. Shit was heavily leaked and they knew it.
you know the show was good when the video has that nostalgic green tint
crazy to think everybody was living in the matrix back then
It's night mode dude
@@catface101thank u & on a vx1000 camera. But they wouldn’t know. U actually had to set the frame & picture
This is amazing! It looks just like every show I went to in the 2000s.
Early senses fail, holy shit. Chills
Wow, I’ve lived in New Jersey my whole life and I have never heard of Williamstown. The show is cool, I was never really a Senses Fail fan, but I’m still flabbergasted that there’s a Williamstown NJ that I’ve never heard of.
The performance is absolutely amazing 😍
Saw this on the SF IG. Freaking tight.
I wish I recorded all the footage from my local hardcore shows around the GTA, fuck. You have one of the rawest channels that shows such a cool period of time in a small portion of the populations lives, and its so important to the people the lived it. thanks man.
We were the last generation before everyone became social media stars lol glad I was there to live it!
My favorite thing is seeing them play stuff from Enfold before their brief stint as this massive massive band.
Were they massive?
@@mattyslicks are you being sarcastic?
@@patpatpat No and im not trying to be argumentative. I love SF, but I wouldn't say that they were ever massive.
@@mattyslicks let it enfold you was certified gold, they were on TV often, played some big tours back in the day. This is when I was a teenager in 04/05. Yeah, not the Beatles, but there was a stint, as I said, where they were a massive band.
@@patpatpat It was certified Gold in 2012 8 years after its release. There were bands going platinum in a week or so in that era.
a once in a lifetime moment that i’ve unfortunately missed out on :( looks insane
I remember downloading old videos like these as a kid using dial up internet lmao. Always worth it.
This also reminds me of their really old DVD (and when’s bands use to come out with DVDs in general)
For sure! Such great memories. I had dozens of these when I was younger that I watched on REPEAT. Occasionally I’ll stumble on one on UA-cam and it’s always capped at like 144p 🤣
This era of music was truly something special. No amount of ironic stylistic comeback could match up lol.
this is amazing.
Basically Im old now and miss going to shows like this
This is so good 🤘🤘
My best friends older brother was able to convince their mom to buy them From the Depths of Dreams and I remember being pretty floored by it when he let me borrow it. I still think it and Let it Enfold You are just incomparable to anything else in the genre.
Saw them like 3 months later in Fresno at Pizza Land with The Movielife and A Static Lullaby. What a solid first concert. Young me was lucky.
Wow sick crowd for 2002!! I first saw them at Warped Tour 04 I believe.
awesome!
do you have any From Autumn to Ashes material?
Yes. hate5six.com/vote
I love the precursor to the song "The Irony of Dying on your Birthday"
I say this every time but you're a treasure
Thank you for posting this. FUCKING RAD
The good days...🥺🥺
Anyone know where I can find this demo version of Irony of Dying on Your Birthday?
Wow.. rare treasure here mate
Love this wish I could have been there senses fail is my favorite and of all time
I wish I could hear this version of irony more clearly, it would be cool to compare the 2 versions
this footage is pretty fucking incredible.
12:15 The way he falls out of frame lmao. Love it.
Wow awesome
What a scene.
Insane Dan Trapp crisp as hell for a 15 year old.
Dude my freshman year they had garage bands that were superior & they were on in my grade. But never made it. It was just local.
@@johnmoyarbmg5845 Yeah but SF had the flair as well. Tough to have both.
Yo this fucks. Great to see this era
Wow. The people knew “Shot Through my Heart” in One Eight Seven 32:06
Gives me insane goosepumps
U realize it's a reference to bon Jovi "you give love a bad name" ? It was obvious.
The stage was very low.
This is priceless.
YES
From the Depths of Dreams is the best album they put out in my opinion
I agree its so raw and dark lol
Was an Ep not an album it was the introduction to let it enfold you an album is more then 5 songs or tracks
@@johnmoyarbmg5845 it was rereleased with new album artwork and more tracks
Irony of dying on your birthday sounds a lot different from the actual recording due to this being before both dreams and LIEY
that early version of irony of dying on your birthday is awesome
For real. Caught me way off guard.
So cool :)
Holy crap baby Dan
wow, steven from the start
Setlist ?
The name of the 3 and 5 song?
Song three is Bloody Romance, and song five is Dreaming A Reality.
I can't see so much
hey buddy i love you and you are who made me feel like i could come out as bi and once i could come out like that i didnt have something to run from and i also didnt need to drink .
thats awesome!!
Why would u need someone to inspire something you always been ? Sooner or later it was gonna come out.
So dark, but I still love it
lights are on around the 10 min mark
I fucking love buddy so much 🥰
is this a different version of iorny of dying on your birthday?
Back when music was music
muammar khalid thamimi lubis
Lol Buddy asking audience members for dead baby jokes 19:07
Fuck yes!
Irony of dying on your birthday what an interesting version. Did buddy call it “sapphire” ? Or “ tragedy in sapphire”?
2
I think he said "tragedy is satire" or something lol
wow this shit is RARE
FUCK YES OMG
The name of the first song pls!!!
Steven
Steven - from the From Depths EP - make sure not to listen to the re-recorded version of this EP until you've heard the OG lol
those 2 girls sitting in the corner didn't wanna be there lol
No one wanted to be there it seems.
Don’t blame them
PRS and not a Les Paul.. cool
Wow where are the masks
Fear of the scamdenic libcuck?
