Good question. It is a domestic tank water heater. You’ll see two little ledges inside the passenger side of the trailer. I put some square tubing bridging the ledges to put the water heater on. If I were to do it over again I would go tankless for sure. Here is a link to the type of water heater I used.

Good tourer of the trailer. Fairly well thought out, although using the sink has got too be awkward being so confined by the fender.
The power supply from the vehicle to the trailer via the 7 pin plug is inadequate to provide charge to the 2 house batteries in the trailer. You should research “voltage drop” you really need the appropriate size cable connected via an Anderson plug just as a stand alone power supply to properly keep the house batteries charged and maintained.

A lot of the compartments are caked in dirt. What’s with the lack of sealing?

I’d agree the smittybilt seals are weak. But it’s camping sooo, dirt is part of the program.

How do you control moisture in the nose box? Mine always seems to take on humidity, probably from the bolt holes on the floor of the box.

Nom Solo I used a sealant on the bolt holes so it is a tight seal

Jeremy Lashinske thanks, I’ll try some silicone sealant on them. Very nice setup by the way.

How’d you flush mount the solar panel? I just purchased this same kit and looking for hardware. Thanks

I used some sheet metal screws from the bottom of the lid into the aluminum frame on the solar panel.

I need someone to make me a bumper like what you have with a few slight changes. Can you please direct me to who did yours and see if they can do one for me. I can make it worth their time.

lots of dust and dirt inside your electrical box...if you don't get a better seal on that you guaranteed will have issues later.

$9000 trailer and you had to "reinforce it". Fuck that!
