@veronica carlson I think he is a millionaire a couple of times over so he doesn't need to worry about it, not right now anyway. He didn't seem happy at the start of the season for sure but I think the birth of his daughter changed all of that. I thought he seemed very happy and at peace with his decision and although that means we won't be seeing him again on the show, I am really happy for him & I wish him every happiness. Merry xmas.

@@evearcana2392 he left the series to 'go find him self' (small fun detail I actually met him in Bali and he is the nicest person ever) - he ended up falling in love with the mother of his child, Nikita- and than she got pregnant. But she left him because she did not want to be in a committed relationship with Luis (allegedly) but they did decide to keep the kid and raise it together. He has a great relationship with the mother of the child and they co parent but are not together. This is what he said in interviews - it was not fully shown on the season.

Fredrik is making a mistake by leaving NY (and his amazing apartment). He is not an LA kinda guy and he'll have to basically live on an airplane and this is a waste of his time.

You can afford a vacation house in LA and you are the one that doesn't have such a demanding job so you can fly to LA once a month or so instead of making Fredrik to live on an airplane and juggle back and forth from LA to NY.

Smell the Glove was thinking the same. But that’s very sweet of him though.
He probably helped a bit, but his brother is financially successful too. Which is probably why the relationship is working because they can focus on being brothers and not have the finances be in the middle of their relationship.
His brother is an author, and he has a podcast (aimed at the Swedish market) that generates him $35+k a month.

Smell the Glove the thing here isn’t what amount of money the brother has, but the fact that he is able to support his own lifestyle and provide for his own family together with his wife who is also working. He’s making above average if you add that up for the entire year and then add that he for years lived a rather modest lifestyle in Sweden and invested and managed to save money and still is able to put money away.
Siblings that are both financially independent and that has the ability to focus on and enjoy their relationship aren’t dependent on them making the same amount of money (If one would be unemployed it would probably be a totally different situation).
I mean so many people have siblings that make millions of dollars but they themselves work a job with an average salary and they don’t depend on their sibling to support them financially because they lead a life adjusted to their own economy and the friendship between them is still strong because the focus is the emotional connection and not ”you have more money than I do”.
These brothers had a tough upbringing too (Sigge wrote about it in one of his books and has spoken about it in the Swedish media) so to have a healthy bond is extra important for these two brothers and that they keep that connection, and Sigge moving his family to L.A. to stay close to Fredrik says a ton considering the family already made this big move over the Atlantic from Sweden.
Anyway it’s nice to see they value their relationship in such a big way because that is sadly not always the case for siblings who carry childhood traumas.
Ps. Both brothers are financially set meaning they can provide for their families in a comfortsble way. And that number I have was an estimate based on a number he gave years ago so it’s more likely much more now and the podcast have a few commercial spots bought buy companies for each episodes so it adds up and he has a co-worker so it’s not all for him. But as you said, a podcast does give him the opportunity to travel sith his job, and it creates good content that ine of the guys running it has a bunch of new reference points.
