I’m an old music snob. I’ve pretty much given up on believing there will be new artists which appeal to me. This Morgan Wade has infiltrated my closed mind
you must not get out into the music world very much...... there are a TON of new artists out there that are making amazing music. If you like Morgan Wade, you must really love Miley Cyrus then because they sound exactly like each other........

I'm 55 years old and LOVE music; I've actively listened to a wide range of music through the years. My very first purchase was a 45 record by Paul McCartney and Wings, "Jet," the flip side was "Mamunuia." I must have been 8 or 9 years old, and I played that record over and over again on my Show'N tell record player. I have many friends that seem to be stuck in the '70s and '80s; they won't listen to anything newer than their teens and 20's. When I was growing up, Rush, Van Halen, Alice Cooper, Aerosmith, Eddie Money, Def Leppard, and the list went on and on. When I moved to Miami. Florida, my taste started to shift toward blues, jazz, and Latin music, due to me hanging out at Tobacco Road in Miami and The Tropics in Miami Beach. I did get a really early taste of modern music at Club Beirut in Miami Beach. When I moved to San Francisco, California, I fell into New Age, Modern Rock. Now I'm happier listening to I guess you would call it Americana. Bands like Lucero, Jason Isbell, Chris Stapelton, Tyler Childers, Sturgill Simpson, Fred Eaglesmith, Arlo McKinley, John Prine, Kacey Musgraves, Benjamin Tod....the list goes on and on. I also enjoy pop songs with a good hook! Olivia Rodrigo's "Drivers License" in 5/4 time is refreshing for a pop song! Massive Wagons "House of Noise" makes the adrenaline rise!
Keep an open mind, and you will find new great artists and music to listen to.

So what’s unique about her style and vocals? To me she is all tattooed up, sounds like mainstream female singers these days, and singing about the same stuff others are out there. Just wondering. Not saying she isn’t talented. But I have seen many many talented musicians, singer song writers and beautiful women and men performing who get ignored for one reason or another. Someone told me about her, so I listened today. I have listened to several of her songs. You can tell and learn a lot about an artist, listening live, not studio. Not many artist sound the same live. Those that do are special. Just my take.
@@truthmarshal6627Well to me she has a unique sound, shes different. Yeah she's all tatted up but what does that matter. I dont have any tattoos but I have many friends that do and they are wonderful people. And yes.. there are alot of people who are very talented that never get noticed and its sad. But what I've noticed its being unique and different is what makes you stand out more. If you sound and look like somebody else you're not gonna get anywhere. Thats why I tell people to stay away from doing cover tunes.. They get so used to trying to sing and sound like a certain person that they don't even know what their own sound is. Rarity gets noticed.

Fantastic piece of songwriting, beautiful vocal track, outstanding production by Sadler Vaden. I could listen to this all day...
First time I heard this, I was driving through the countryside of Central Minnesota and listening to a local station that played mostly "country" filler. When this came on, it felt like a total breath of fresh air.
And to anyone who judges Wade for her tattoos, just know that she has more country in one finger than the likes of Thomas Rhett or Jordan Davis have in their entire bodies. Cope.

Heard this song for the first time on the radio yesterday now I can't stop listening.
Triple threat talent who can sing, play, and write. She's distinguished enough to where she doesn't sound or play like most mainstream newer female artists that I can't tell apart. I also love her alternative look in this genre of music. I'll be looking for a concert schedule.
I FINALLY have tickets to see her at a local music festival in September. I am so excited.

Love this song, and the whole of her album. I bought the album 8 months ago and was really pleased today to hear that BBC Radio 2 in the UK have chosen "Wilder Days" as their record of the week! Hopefully she will now become well known here in the UK!

A lot of times there’s more to that mystery but when I was 13 my parents divorced. I grew up in a small town and grew up in several bars in our small counties and towns. I only seemed to look up to older men because that’s who I hung out with. Thankfully my Dad was very protective but once they divorced, I went wild and I always picked older men. Anyway, this song and video blows my mind because it’s like watching a video of my life.

Most of Morgan’s music I’ve heard has been very stripped down and vulnerable. I think that was the initial allure after I heard “the night”. While I originally heard a live version of this song that I enjoyed, I am glad to hear this version as well. God bless you Morgan. Do your thing.

Morgan Wade has been one of my favorite artist for years. She's the best thing to ever come out of Floyd Co. VA for sure. I love that she's a local girl and it's been a pleasure watching her grow as an artist and strong female. I feel incredibly lucky that I have been able to listen to her for several years. I told y'all this girl was going places. She's special! Thank you for allowing us to witness the growth of such a beautiful soul. This is an incredible song, you have an incredible voice and lyrics. And the cherry on top is that Sadler let your music remain authentic on the record.
I always prefer the raw cuts but Sadler has remained truer to that sound that almost any producer would have I feel.
