My favorite game of all time. And what an absolutely terrific overview of the game-flow, guys! Maybe the best synopsis I've ever heard!
Great playthrough! TMB has so many of those great board game moments where you think all hope is lost and suddenly a couple of dice rolls go your way and you find an opening and inch out the W. Love it! Stanza is always a go to for me, but I have also been really enjoying Static. He has some really fun combos.
I'm playing a solo game of Unbreakable today, and it's very annoying. What I really hate about the game is that you can instantly realize that you have absolutely no shot at winning a battle by at least round 2. That definitely sucks.
Also, it's clear that the designers are clueless about difficulty levels. The easiest mode adds 2 HP and 1 training point. I'm going to officially change that by doubling it to 4 HP and 2 training points for solo. That should make the difficulty true easy because as it stands rules as written, Adventurer mode is normal to hard, no question.
So happy to see you put out gameplay on this. I picked up Unbreakable but learning it is too daunting and it's just sitting on my shelf, eyeing me daily. I will bust it out eventually.
Rock and Roll fighting in a final mosh pit is what any metal head would want for their final moments
Absolutely love the playthrough of one of my favorite games of all time! Y’all are incredible and I will watch every single play through y’all upload.
Been curious about this game for a while. I have to say the whole ChipTheory copious neoprene overproduction thing does put me off but TBM seal of approval is enough for me to check it out 😅
Never seen this game played. Enjoying the play thru. What is your guys favorite RPG/ adventure games?
I need this in spanish ❤
I feel like if someone made it an hour they wouldn’t mind just watching the whole play through, or just add a timestamp? I’m not sure how that effects the algorithm or whatever, and maybe I’m wrong but I’m personally sad I missed those two missions
It’s honestly a mix of things. One is algorithm based, the longer the play through the less long people will watch it, which the algorithm doesn’t like. Also when people see a play through that is 2+ hours long it makes them less likely to to click on it to watch at all. And lastly these play throughs are very time consuming to edit, so taking out those encounters means hours less work on our end, and we can get the video out faster. Normally we wouldn’t take out gameplay like that, but because this one is encounter based, and the encounters are mostly the same, with some small differences, we felt it was fine to leave out a couple so we can get to the boss fight sooner.
We are super glad you’re enjoying it enough to watch the extra encounters though!
In the game explanation you keep using the word protocol instead of profession. 😄
For at least the characters, their skill dice fall into different Protocol categories, hence us using protocol

This looks fiddly as all get-out. Not a fan of fiddly games. You guys should play some of the classic modern euros that are still in print. To show people that the older games are still awesome and still in print for a reason. Everyone now is obsessed with the cult of the new.
They put cribbage in all or their top 10 ( almost ) , i think it is old enough
I love TMB and really enjoyed the play through. I’m not as familiar with Unbreakable so it was fun to check out the new mechanisms in play.
TMB came out in 2017. It's not really cult of the new. Yeah sure this is a standalone expansion blah blah blah that came out this year, but it's also not really cult of the new because you can just go buy it second hand for the base game.
We'll look to do some of the "older games" soon when we start streaming on UA-cam but yeah new games are also awesome so we're for sure going to keep covering those.
nice gameplay! Rock and roll !
It’s called a Penny-Farthing because of British coins. The penny and the farthing were different sizes resembling the wheels! Thanks for playing Too Many Bones! It’s on my must have list and I was glad to finally see it played!
Ah that makes sense! Thank you!
