I think Most people who would go though a house like that and steal everything but I love you you treat each place with respect as if someone still lives there. Just look at when you recovered that butter. In sure anyone else would just open things and leave the place worth than when they arrived

It's like they just left in a hurry as if being informed of a nuclear bomb about to hit the land, but in the end that came out wrong though even when they knew there was actually no danger they still couldn't be bothered to collect what reflects their successes through life and the potential they had to win those golden awards! Such a pitty if you ask me...

I lived in a big old farmhouse in the 80’s that was amazing, 8 bedrooms, underground cellar. It’s called St Patrick’s house in Baccus Marsh. I think it’s on turf growers property now. It’s abandoned.... I would LOVE to see what it looks like again. Have been tempted to go out myself and did some research a while back with the intent to go out there but never did

The owners daughter and family should clean it up and rent it out as a air bnb. They would be able to keep the house and have people living there to make sure it doesn’t just sit there.
It's really sad. I work in nursing homes and it breaks my heart. We have people move their parents in with only a few outfits and no other belongings, clearly that's what happened here. She obviously had things that meant something to her and everything was left behind to rot.

Having a piece of clothing still on the ironing board etc. Or would've made sense if the owners died and their family aren't around to clean the house. But then to find out that the owner is actually in aged care and the family are close by? Seems so strange that they didn't clean it up and sell it when they had the chance.

should of had a look at the hotwater system for when it was installed/maintenance to get an idea when people last lived there
