In this case, the only defence against the obvious threat was the Bh5 move, so it has to be looked at even if it seems strange, and it turns out that it sorts out the other problems as well.
You said you need "huge Engine Depth" for that Rook to e4. When I scanned the position* and asked the engine, this move was the first to come out. *If you don't know: There are apps, chess position scanners, with which you take a picture, and you got them on board and can share with other apps.

It took 5 seconds to came up with Rook E4. Then it took some 30 seconds to start showing Eval for 4 best moves. It settled to Rook to e4 +0.3, then +0.1, +0.0, +0.0 before I stopped.
