Common Beginner Fighting Mistakes in Fortnite
Mistake 1: Poor defensive positioning
Don't peak from the left-hand window
Play the range when at a HP disadvantage
Avoid 50/50 edits when low on HP
Mistake 2: Not creating space in a single box
Create three interconnected boxes in an L shape to have more space to work with
Avoid getting stuck in a single box with no space to back up
Mistake 3: Bad awareness
Don't tunnel vision on a single player
Always do 360s to check surroundings
Be aware of other players in the area
Mistake 4: Not tracking opponents
Use visual and audio cues to track opponents
Don't get caught out by opponents' plays
Mistake 5: Boxing in wood
Avoid boxing in wood as it's easy to break and makes you an easy target
Use wood only for mid-rotates or building up to a fight
Mistake 6: Not knowing when to disengage
Disengage from fights that are taking too long or are not worth the risk
Don't get too attached to winning every fight
Mistake 7: Fighting in congested areas
Avoid fighting in areas with many players rotating in
Choose fights in less congested areas to reduce the risk of third parties
Mistake 8: Not knowing how to close out a fight
Don't walk into a box to close a fight
Use smart edits and peaks to reduce exposure
Mistake 9: Relying too much on trading damage
Don't rely solely on trading damage to end fights
Use peace control and good movement to end fights without taking too much damage
Mistake 10: Not playing reactively on defense
Slow down and play reactively when on defense
Wait for opponents to make mistakes rather than trying to make proactive plays
Additional Tips
Always prioritize making space and getting heals after a fight
Don't get too greedy and focus on loot after a fight
Use good movement and edit selections to reduce exposure in fights
Play slower and more reactively to take less damage and conserve heals.

a quick question, at 11:00 at that fight he jumps in with nitro and you said it is not the best thing you should do, but at the t3eny fighting video he used this strat most likely all of his fights and you said that this is how you should do it. So i dont understand that is it bad or not?
teeny has some of the best aim so if he has a health advantage he will jump in because 99/100 times he wins in aim duel
It honestly depends on how good you are at phasing through builds easily and how good your aim is in a true 1v1 aim duel ingame, t3eny has great aim so if he gets a health advantage or he wants to end the fight quickly he will just run through the wall as be breaks it and just pump him, because most people even if they are good if done at the right time don’t really expect it, especially if they are trying to Rebox, so if you want to play fast like that just get good aim, master phasing, and learn ways to get your opponent to rebox and just phase in, or you could shove a build in their box, even if it’s just a wall you phase in, or a ramp, they will rebox and will get more nervous, then it’s just over once you jump in while they are nervous
These aren’t true for all people know your strength skill wise and things like your loot and matts the same goes for ur opponent

4:53 the thing that annoys me is the he got no cones in hes box. the opponent could have easily prefired him when making that 50/50 and place a stair in the guys box.
8:10 what if your opponent is so dumb to keep pushing you even though hes getting shot from other places after fighting for over 2 minutes

Hi destiny how do I qualify and improve for zero build because I'm new to zero build and I'm nit the smartest player
I don’t play zero builds but I would presume you should prioritize learning how to rotate properly by watching yt videos
@crazyinja333 I do that, but my biggest problem is that I don't think and I do dumb plays
@@Jaxyyfn I used to do that too. I don’t know how to explain it but for me personally in the back of my mind I know something I I’m about to do is wrong, but I still do it anyways, if you don’t have that, more experience will probably help
Also try not to be as excited if you get a kill or smthing like that. I remember when I started scrims I got a headshot snipe and I immediately went for the body, but I didn’t think and that cost me as I got jumped by another team and left my duo as a solo.
@crazyinja333 also I just panic and I'm not the best player in builds but I get around 80 points but that's not enough to quap in eu but I'm switching to zero build because I think I'll be better and qual and there's a higher chance to win because I have always had good aim
