You were so lucky cuz the red moon makes you lose your powers. If you jumped in the water just a few second early, you'd have lost your power(sorry if my english is not correct cuz its not my first language). But if you go in the water with the normal moon you get more powers(but only with the custom character, cuz the character you chose is part of the serie, so it has only one power and you cant get more)
