- The elbow hammer lock is a must-know martial arts technique for all law enforcement officers, security officers, and bouncers. It's also excellent in knife defense. It's a sweet joint lock that is applied very quickly. It doesn't lock a person up super tight, but it's a good temporary control technique that you can use to either walk someone out of the door, take them down, or disarm them if they have a knife.

This is martial arts for the real world! Welcome to Sabeel Combatives with Wael Abdelgawad.
Sabeel Combatives teaches techniques from Hammerhead Hapkido, Japanese Jujitsu, Silat and Kali, and blends them into a beautiful and devastating combat flow.
In Sabeel we keep only what works and discard the rest.
On this channel I showcase a wide variety of striking, throwing and locking techniques. Please subscribe and like.
Love it!
Make another one!
An excellent video. Thanks for sharing! You really have an interesting combination of systems in your curriculum.
Thanks. It's basically a modernized form of Hapkido, along with Silat and Kali, and a touch of Japanese Jujitsu. All of which I hold black belts or am an instructor in.
@@SabeelCombatives yes, I had noticed. And I love it. Your Kali is probably Inosanto. Your Silat, I think to remember (I'm new to the channel) is Serak (probably De Thouars Serak Silat. Perhaps, also coming from Mr Inosanto). About your Hapkido, I can't remember the school, although I think you told us. A wonderful combination. I love it. And, you also have Ju-Jitsu! That's amazing 🤩!
If viewers are interested, I'll make another video on troubleshooting this lock, as people often have trouble getting it right.
Excellent breakdown Sir!
Thanks man, I really appreciate that!
@@SabeelCombatives Sure thing! I was watching one of my Guro Inosanto Seminar DVDs last week... Flexible Weapons and saw you in it :)
Oh my goodness you're kidding me! That's so cool. Yes I was there that day. Where can I buy that DVD?
