No it has its own convertor with threads.
Will pilot kakuno medium run broader than platinum preppy medium?Asking you this because I already have Preppy medium and it is very broad and would like to purchase a pen which is finer than preppy so thinking about kakuno medium.
Both are Japanese pens, so probably the nib width will be same
Pilot medium is finer than preppy medium. The pilot fine is almost equivalent to preppy ef.
Where can i order this ?

Myself I prefer the larger nib on the 3.5
