There are some videos were you can see Ruiz a little outta shape; but in this fight with Joshua he was in shape, light on his feet with fast hands and quick reflexes. He can always get a bit better but he'll never be a muscle bound adonis...and he's the better for it.

Would be great to see Ruiz get in better physical shape, but at this point in his career, it would be very difficult to mess with his power and speed that drastically. I believe it messes with the boxers equilibrium. His stamina is great for a heavyweight. Look at the fight vs Parker, he was still throwing power punches and moving in the 12th round.

All of the subtle movements that Ruiz displayed proved that he has a higher ring IQ compared to AJ. How? Fact #5) Ruiz ADJUSTED instantly after the knock down! And even though AJ made an adjustment and tried to stay out of the pocket for two rounds by popping his jab, Ruiz readjusted and got in. So, given the application of the basic boxing fundamentals, you cannot compare Ruiz to Bori or any other person. Why? 1) Only Klitschko dropped AJ prior to Ruiz. 2) Ruiz did it methodically with technique. 3) He dropped AJ 4-Times! And 4) Bori did not show any of the adjustments like Ruiz.

If the rematch in US Ruiz wins again, if the fights in UK then Ruiz won’t be allowed to fight on inside due to Eddie’s refs - see Joshua/Parker fight. I’d like IBF it strip the title if they rematch as this would open up a tournament
