I'm sharing why I stopped using the Trophy Skin microdermabrasion machine. I started using it a few years ago after the company sent it to me and I absolutely loved it. But things have changed since then so today I'm sharing why I stopped using my Trophy Skin machine and what's working for me now.

I've been using my Trophy Skin for about two years, and love it! I don't us any type of Rentin-A, since my skin is too sensitive.
Yes! All anyone needs is a good quality moisturizer and sun screen. I think she had good intentions, but clearly did a lot of extra exfoliating with additional products.

Yes, very helpful and I've been nosy, too, wanting to know just what all you were using. Knew the TT, but was surprised to see that you still used the Salicylic Acid! You told me to buy some when I first was new to YTBeauty. About 11 months ago. I have used it, mostly gone, but don't think I will be repurchasing the Salicylic. Just don't know where to use it in my skincare and I don't have the pores, except few on my nose. I must admit that I use a rotation of many products, but mostly got my acids in tow from Angie/Hot&Flashy. She seemed to be the #1 most honest, affordable, and consistent. NOT THAT YOU HAVE EVER BEEN!!! (You have no idea how many times I've struggled with stopping my Tret, and starting up with TT because of your skin!) But I happen to LOVE my Tret, use Microsphere Tret from Obagi or J&J. And Yes, I do buy in bulk from India, after many many months of paying full price over here! Elle made me trust her trying it and I love, love, love it. And also am a Curology Subscriber at 0,14% which is HIGH, but I alternate, since it is SO affordable and mix with heavy cream on my neck. My neck has been transformed in a short period, as it GLOWS. Clean with a rotation of non foaming drug store products, even down to Noxzema! Yup! But love Pixie, Neutrogena Hydraboost, Neutrogena with Salicylic! To name a few! (Get bored and use a different product every time I wash my face! Once a week, take a break from Tret to do a The Ordinary re peel or a Good Molecules over night peel. And when I use my Colleen Rothschild pads...I gently swirl each over my face til that pad is DRY!!!!!!! So I use all differing brands, since I am slightly disabled with a horrific back, can't do much, only in 5 -10 minute intervals, (showers go by FAST), cooking goes by in waves,etc. Only thing I can do in winter months is grocery shop by leaning on the cart and shopping. Summers are too warm to shop so I order EVERYTHING online. Didn't mean to go on and on but did wonder about how /when you use your Salicylic? The commercials talk all about how IT gives such wonderful complexions, that I thought I better NOT stop using! But since I go practically no where, rarely wear all my wonderful makeup, I use each day to pile on all acids and Peptides, potions, lotions, etc. Til end of evenings where I go straight into my Tret. Thought I would never stop having alligator skin, or peeling, and sometimes I still get them, but I just continue using all my products and they are gone. And even using the Tret sloughs off dead skin cells. So I stuck with it and it has changed my skin in the past many many years. My face is flawless, much like yours. I lightly touch it all throughout the day just to feel and see the glow and softness. Same for my Vit C. Though I would never be able to use Timeless, so I bought Good Molecules powder, mixed it with Super Peptides, and no gritty feeling, only smooth, and less harsh Vit C. Now I can wear my Timeless. But may stick with the Good Molecules for such a better deal! Thanks for reading. Know it was long...!
I don't use the same acids everyday. But how I use it, after I cleanse☺
I love the TT and I use the 5% every third night. I stopped using the microdermabrasion machine as well but I like that pore cleaner except I looked like rudolf a few weeks ago. Lol. Take a look at Obagi Clenziderm pore therapy tone. Amazing product and has that pump disc dispenser you mentioned. Stay safe and have a great weekend. 😘

Thanks for s great video Anne. I love it when you share the products that you use and that works for you 😃. I only just started using some og the products from The Ordinary and one is Granactiv retinoid. A few days ago my chins started to have some texsture on them. I have never had that before. So then I started using those products from The Ordinary. Today is the third day of using them and the texture is almost gone😃😃. So I am very happy 😃🥰.

I only use a cream, or an a hydrater an so then I use my derma only in certain spots. I don't use any kind of acids.
Great and informative video!! I can't use Retin A either b/c I do NOT want to be dealing with peeling skin all the time! My skin is dry enough without it!! Love your hair today girl!!! Love and Hugs!!

Everyone is using moisturizers with their Tretinoin these days. I do not. I moisturize all during the day. I don't like diluting my Tret! Want it strong!!! But if anything ever changes, I will start buying TT immediately!
I tried using moisturizer with it and it only occasionally helped.

It's Smashing!!! Sooooo sick of the fake beachy waves. I've never had enough hair to do much with but you just have never looked better and you Continue to Age backwards. without makeup you look much younger!!! Thanks!

I use religiously The Ordinary Products along with many other products, brands, but The Ordinary has some amazing products. I use their lactic acid.
Thank you for the great advice on alternatives to Retin A. Funny aside, I recently saw an advertisement for Trophy Skin and thought, "I wonder is Anne P still uses it."
Slowly stopped using it over the past year until I completely did several month or so ago.
My skin was always dry and patchy with prescription Retin A . I even tried the lower dosage, I mixed it with moisturizer and still. I gave up on Retin A.
Yep I tried the same and sometimes it worked and other times it didn't.

Yay glad you're loving it. I just purchased the Hot Tools to compare because so many people in the comments recommended it. Video coming soon. Yeah I'm over it. I just could not deal with it anymore.
I bought a Trophy Skin machine after I saw your video, I still use mine. About once or twice a month, just to get a " clean " feeling. Plus if my husband saw me not using it for what I paid for it, he might say something. lol
I use a good RX card for my retin A. Prescription. I think I pay $45..it would be normally around $100. insurance won't cover it. You're suppose to peel. It also makes your skin purge/breakout. But will look much better after all that.
Sounds like your retin A was a high percentage.
Yeah mine was much more expensive than that. And I was peeling so much my skin never looked good. When I was on a lower dose I didn't see much peeling. It's why I increased it. TT works much better for me. Glad you enjoy using retinol. We all have different skin. What works for one doesn't for another. Thanks for sharing your experience.
I use The Ordinary products which include the night retinol and glycemic which I rotate. My skin responds to both well. Also use the lactic acid 2- 3 times a week. In mornings, Copper peptides ,amino acid and peptides. Then apply Ayurvedic oil and then my day cream along with sunscreen protector.The prescription retinol is way too strong for my mature skin. I also use my near red infrared light and my Ayurvedic copper massage tool. I truly believe the exfoliator machine would be too much for my skin.

Hi Anne, I just purchased the Colleen Rothschild peel pads but haven’t started using them because I’m not sure Where to fit them into my skincare routine, I usually cleanse, Essenes, Vitamin C, Timeless Matrixyl, then moisturiser, where would you recommend I add the peel pads into that routine, I also have Colleen Rothschild Mandelic acid and not sure when to use it morning or night, I go between a few Retinal products, I have her Retinal Serum, prescription strength 0.05% Retinal, Dr Dennis Groth 2 step peel pads then I follow with Estée Lauder night repair serum, I’ve got a cupboard full of skincare trying to work my way through it before I try the Truth Treatment brand of skincare. After you cleanse you can use the peel pads. I only use them in the morning because I use my retinol at night. I would use the mandelic acid only once a week. Don't over do the acids like I did. And I would not use it on days you're using a retinol. So I would do it on the night you're not doing that. You just don't want to over do any exfoliating as it can be very irritating to your skin.

I’m curious to know where you moved from? When I moved to the Midwest with hard water I had to have a new skin routine when I lived on the east coast I literally had none and my skin was fine I never broke out and I ate not the healthiest diet and I definitely wasn’t drinking enough water and I always had clear skin … I also prayed alot to God about it too I’m not sure if that helped or not .. but I move to the Midwest with this hard water and I can only use liquid soaps/whipped soaps that I buy from smaller businesses
I moved from Northern Illinois. We were close to the Wisconsin border. We had a water softener which greatly helped. We are finally getting one installed in our current home which will help tremendously.

I use Vivier .3% retinol. My skin is sensitive but I can use this every night without any issues.
I just started using my Trophy Skin MiniMD two nights ago. Loved how soft my skin felt afterwards. Gave myself a hickey below my lip.😂

I was using it for several years. Not everyday. But I don't feel the need to use it any longer. And I don't want to over do it. I just stick to using retinol and acids.😉

I stopped using in 3 years ago. I no longer felt the need to use it because of the skincare I'm using. It would have been too much for my skin.

Ugh...me too Anne, except I paid for the machine! Wish I could find someone that would enjoy having it. I used it maybe 8 times; that's it. I alternate Retina with Truth treatments...absolutely love the vitamin C:) If you know of anyone who wants my machine, let me know lol:)
