- Joel Sadler is a BioX Fellow at Stanford University where he explores enhancing human creativity with better prototyping tools. While studying engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology he became interested in the needs of wheelchair users, and developed a love of the design process applied to the human body.
In this inspiring TEDx Jamaica talk Joel Saddler describes how he, as part of a team, designed the JaipurKnee prosthetic, a radically affordable knee joint for amputees that has impacted thousands of lives. Joel's work on the JaipurKnee has received worldwide recognition, including being honored by Time Magazine as one of the top 50 inventions of 2009.
An inspiring talk. The application of his Jaipurknee joint is much needed in Africa.
Very inspirational person, he found a great solution.
That's a good man to do that
Lol. There was a TED talk as an ad before this TED talk. At first, I thought it was the video. Until two minutes in. Lol. Overall great TED talk. Plus is that late and great Edward Seaga at 2:18?
Great talk

Amazing
What! At 2.16 is that who I think it is?
Hi! I'm currently up at 11:36 looking for information on a project due tomorrow
