It’s interesting that Doug Dodson in the 305s still has that paint scheme. Looking up his name that car has never had that scheme from what I can tell and it looks remarkably like the AI schemes. This makes me think that, for whatever reason, they were unable to recreate the car for the game(s) but still were able to use the man’s name. Idk, probably some weird copyright stuff with one of his sponsors or lack of permission from whoever designed his actual car. Just interesting that 2 years later it’s still the same
I noticed that none of the wingless drivers seemed to be either not real people or had the same issue (I’m not familiar enough with that specific class to say which) Same for the micro’s but that makes more sense as from what I can tell the drivers are mostly minors and that makes it much more difficult to license something like this so it makes sense
*Spoiler alert* My name is in the game but my paint scheme is not. I have a friend that had her name in last year and this year. No paint scheme last year but it is in this year. She didn’t even know her scheme was in until I told her. I sent mine in but I guess the decision wasn’t up to the guy that compiled the info. I wasn’t told why my scheme wasn’t put in and I am assuming my friend wasn’t told why hers went in.
@@TheOGGO oh wow, thanks for the info but that is really bizarre. I’ve noticed also that, if memory serves me right, all the Vanden Tops were in the first game with their Street Stocks but not playable yet the one UMP mod was playable and now I’m wondering who made the decisions about all of that cause that’s just incredibly weird. Also sucks they didn’t use your scheme, would’ve been really cool to see even more irl cars to help flesh out the game and give it more character, let alone one(s) you can go and watch on yt. And, if I’m honest, i really don’t like the “fantasy” schemes, they’re just so out there and random feeling at times, like they were using a beta version of the customization and just never fixed them. (Not my actual theory just the vibe I get from it)
I legit think there’s a “beast mode” or something when you go a lap down. Even in the old came I would be struggling to stay in the lead lap and get lapped and then a caution. And just like you pass most of the field in a lap. Makes no sense but I think it might be a hidden Easter egg.
I can’t say I’ve ever noticed that happening in either of my careers in the first game to the extent shown in this vid, I’ve definitely made a little progress to unlap myself on restarts but never gotten close. Maybe that’s just my skill level and the high difficulty I play on balancing it out or something, idk. Definitely caught me off guard here tho
Where did you say we could find manuals on each of the different parts of setup? I use a preset, but I want to learn what each individual part of a setup does so I can make my own.
worldofoutlawsgame.com/cars/ I’m actually going to do a video with my stock car and a buddy’s crate late model going over all of it and how it applies in the game vs. real life
Career sucks again it’s even easier than last year I’m not even fully through year 1 of micro sprints and I’ve already expanded with 2 mods and a pro late model
The montly payments when i dont have the time to dedicate to it is a bit of a downside. I understand they are constantly working on the game, but i cant justify that much that often
@Gulfcoastaviation I ran some quick races in a few different cars and you can definitely tell that the physics are different for each car. The micro feels a lot lighter and more nimble than the street stock, which feels heavy and sluggish, for example. The interface is a welcome change as well. Overall, I think it’s good so far BUT when you have that many cars and tracks and series, making a career mode that isn’t repetitive can be a challenge. We will see how it all plays out but I’m enjoying it so far.
I raced quarter midgets from 2000 to 2011 in Huntsville, AL. Raced the grands in Indianapolis one year.
I am so happy that you are back, lets gooo!
So glad to have you back!
Glad you are back as well. I find myself calling my races in my head the way you call them on UA-cam 😂

Most of the drivers are real. I can share more on how that process works when I get to that point in my videos.

Would love to hear more about that whole process though, just intrigues me as a racing nerd about how that works.

With these micros sprints it’s all about momentum. But great video and excited to watch more 🔥

@@TheOGGO Sweet! Thanks and I can't wait to see it.
Does this game support PSVR2?
I honestly don’t know for sure, but my guess would be no.

Any word on if it is coming to pc
Console only
Bro,, just buy actual iracing?😂

Bro where have you been?
Life man! It’s been busy!!
This game is only fun when I remember to take my vyvanse
Game is FUN on controller
That’s what I play it on. Might get some new sim stuff here soon but I save that for the more serious games.
I do think it’s much improved. Some haters, not going to say names think nothing has changed.
