to get the bolts out you could also use the screw by doing one circle then they come out

i heard from someone that electrical tape is better
idk how much it affects the performance but it does feel nice in the hand at least lol

I have used electrical tape, but it makes it much more noticeable and the residue basically ruins your clock if you ever want to take it off

Great to hear that! You can also just put the tape on two opposite sides, and take it off the other two. It makes it a little faster!
