‘글로벌 루키’ 스트레이 키즈의 멤버 승민이 tvN 토일드라마 ‘갯마을 차차차’ OST에 데뷔 후 첫 단독 OST에 참여한다.
승민이 가창자로 참여한 ‘갯마을 차차차’ OST Part 7 ‘Here Always'는 어쿠스틱한 사운드에 로파이 팝 사운드가 가미된 슬로우 템포의 곡으로 승민의 거친 듯하면서도 감정을 자극하는 특유의 음색과 만나 듣는 이들에게 감성 충전의 시간을 선물한다. 담백한 피아노 선율로 시작된 후 화려한 기타 연주와 코러스가 차곡차곡 쌓이며 만들어 내는 풍성한 하모니가 이 곡의 포인트로, 여기에 R&B와 팝을 넘나드는 승민의 안정적인 가창력이 더해졌다.
‘Here Always’는 지난 ‘갯마을 차차차’ 10회, 11회 중 윤혜진(신민아)이 홍두식(김선호)에게 마음을 고백하는 장면에 삽입돼 시청자들로부터 뜨거운 반응을 얻었던 곡으로, 우여곡절 끝에 서로의 마음을 확인한 윤혜진과 홍두식이 입맞춤을 나누는 모습 뒤로 ‘Here Always’가 흐르며 큰 감동을 자아냈다. 특히 노래 중 등장하는 ‘내가 널 부르는 이름이 있다면 빛나는 바다라 할까 아님 나의 세상이라 해야할까’, ‘어느새 다가온 햇살 같은 너의 이름을 부를게’ 등의 감성적인 가사는 윤혜진, 홍두식의 심경을 대변하며 진한 몰입감을 불러 일으킨다.
한편 ‘갯마을 차차차’는 현실주의 치과의사 윤혜진(신민아)과 만능 백수 홍반장(김선호)이 짠내와 사람내음 가득한 바닷마을 공진에서 벌이는 티키타카 힐링 로맨스로 신민아, 김선호, 이상이, 김영옥, 조한철, 공민정, 인교진 등이 출연한다. 매주 토, 일 밤 오후 9시 방송.

Kim Seon-Ho says more with his eyes than most actors. He can portray all emotions from love, sadness, pain and happiness with just his eyes and facial expressions. Just watched him in Home Town Cha cha cha and Start-up. Two different roles which were so well done. I hope to see more from him in future. K-drama has such quality!

I've said it before and I'm more than willing to say it again, Seungmin's highlight in all of his songs is his uniquely beautiful vocal tone. He doesn't really have to hit high notes or do some runs to make the songs impactful (although those are beautiful as well), when he sings, his tone just brings so much colors and the way he delivers shakes every listener's emotions.

I can't express how proud I am of Seungmin. He literally killed it with his vocals here, and the way he captures the message so well through his emotions is just insane. 2.5 years, been watching this boy, and seeing him grow up so much as a vocalist makes me sooo sooo proud! I've been waiting for him to release an OST of his own patiently and I'm really happy he finally got to do it! The time came where he got the opportunity to do so.
Now, as I'm listening to the song on repeat, I can't stop but cry? Not only can I feel his emotions through his voice, but as I look back at the past, Seungmin just makes me sooo proud. He really grew up, like I can't even explain it. Though he hasn't experienced something like this, it felt like he stepped into the shoes of how the character felt and that just really hit me hard.
