This video is an opinion and in no way should be construed as statements of fact. Scams, bad business opportunities, and fake gurus are subjective terms that mean different things to different people. I think someone who promises $100K/month for an upfront fee of $2K is a scam. Others would call it a Napolean Hill pitch.
Im a dentist. Blood vessel tumors in the mouth, rarely present a risk to a child`s life and, usually, no treatment is required. These guys dont have any morals. Cheers from Brasil 🦷

Well of course you guys from Big Dental (a side industry of Big Pharma) would say that because you're just evil and want to stop Master Lim so little kids die 😆
As a Chinese, I am entertained that he used 'ancient Chinese' methods to heal all those diseases.
Alas if only we truly hold the secrets to all of that, we'd monopolize that immediately
THANK YOUUUUU. The best comment on here. They would’ve capitalized on the agessssss ago
Yep, It really a shame that they make these fake claims. There are so many Great aspects to Chinese culture, but these days all China is known for is 'Miracle Cures'. Hurts me. I love ancient Chinese Coins and pottery, and the ye olde Tibetian Monks. But how the are you watching UA-cam, mate ? I thought it was banned in China ? Do you use a VPN ?

I noticed that part as well 😂
In fact, he says that the surgery is very risky, with a great possibility that the child will die sooner than without the intervention. Then it includes the issue of quality of life even if the surgery worked. This type of issue does exist, usually with older people, where sometimes the risk of treatment does not outweigh the benefit of the cure.

Ads like this annoy me a lot as they label medical drugs as an artificial concoction with no grounds in nature. A number of drugs were initially discovered in nature and all people did was isolate it, or made the same chemical artificially, so they are naturally occurring.
It’s funny cause “natural” is utterly arbitrary. Water is a chemical. There’s nothing inherently scary about things that aren’t “natural”
Not everything in nature is good.
@@snooganslestat2030 yeah, and not everything artificial or man made is bad.
Everything is natural tho if you think about it, we haven’t actually made anything
@@JasminMiettunen In fact. Artificial things are more likely to be beneficial. And natural things are more likely to be harmful.
Chair, Floor, Bed roof. Is it really safer to sit on stones, walk barefoot on grass and sleep on mud? Is your diet made off rash inducing berries or food from an artificial farm? Would you rather be stung by a sharp bacteria-infested wooden stick or a clean, sterile needle?
Its one thing if they're only stealing your money. Its another level of evil, if someone delays getting real medical treatment, because of being diverted by one of these scams !
at some point that's just natural selection.
I think that's what killed Steve Jobs. His cancer had a high survival rate with treatment, but he went with alternative medicine. The delay in treatment killed him.

As someone Chinese, these scams piss me off so much. It makes us all look worse by association and causes people to way, way, way overestimate/not understand both Eastern medicine techniques and just medical work/fields in general.
I think the worst thing is that this makes china sound like some kind of esoteric stronghold. Certainly chinese alternative medicine exists but they still cure cancer like any other country with advanced medicine
What’s really sad is people with mental health disorders will pay money for they think is helpful. It’s on the same line as a grandparent thinking their grandchildren need money wired to them.
This scam is on the same level as Bitcoin.
Imagine being in such a bad state, that you know it wont work but it might just give you a little more hope to get you through the pain. I don't believe people are being tricked because they are rationally believing what is being told to them. I believe it is people who are seeking extreme solutions to an inescapable problem we all will face one day. Seeking a solution for something you have been told doesn't exist, but you must find it, as a matter of life or death.
Scams like this seems to target elderly people. especially in a country where healthcare/medication can reach the thousands, $40 could seem like a "why not". Smh
I think we should focus our disdain on the criminals who are engaging in these scams rather than calling their victims mental health disordered. If that's really the case, that makes these scammers worse. I think a little more empathy for the victims is called for. Yes, some people aren't as smart as you and are gullible, but those aren't crimes.

Gonna paraphrase Ricky Gervais here: The reason this stuff is always "traditional" or "ancient" is because it's useless and was left in the past. That which actually worked was kept, refined and is now called modern medicine.

The thing that really pisses me off about the whole 'chinese medicine' bullshit is that there's no distinction between western and eastern medicine. Chinese hospitals aren't some mud-hut in a forest where a naked guy puts on a big wooden mask and dances around your bed to heal you, they're modern facilities filled with trained professionals that have access to all the same training as western doctors. In fact, on account of China being so big and fairly wealthy, there are a shitload of medical innovations that have come from China. Not just small-fry stuff like novel methods of performing certain surgeries, they invented synthetic insulin and the drug that's currently used to treat malaria, and they're currently working on a form of stem-cell therapy that could cure auto-immune disorders like diabetes.
It's so racist to act like China is still stuck in the year 500, they use modern medicine too; and a good chunk of 'big pharma' comes from China.
