Surrey Search & Rescue - Personal Search Kit demo

A video showing what one member of Surrey Search & Rescue carries at all times during a search. The team is also equipped with major 1st-aid kits, stretcher, defibrillator, off-road vehicles, communications mast and facilities to cater for 50 team members on an all-night search in wilderness.
Surrey Search & Rescue is a charity and relies solely on donations to provide esssential equipment and training to team members. In this video, only the Hi-Viz and Radio are supplied by the team. Everything else is personal kit provided by the team member, and as such no endorsement is implied by Surrey Search & Rescue as an entity.

Sorry, your comment slipped through my radar. The yellow thing is a Mammut Burny light, which is a tiny LED white and red light that can be clipped to a dog, helmet, pack or jacket when you need to see or be seen in a emergency:

Hi, thanx for the vid, given me some ideas on what to carry with me. Question, whats the little yellow device on the right hand side of your waist pack? Well it looks yellow to me in the vid, its the little thing attached to the carabiner.
