Pionk had a dreadful game. No jump, errors every shift. Just when I was thinking he was a better player this season, he has 2-3 bad bad bad games in a row. Outshot 20 - 4 during the second & third periods? No wonder 3 goals went in. They ALL ran out of gas by the mid-second period, not a good sign.
There were no Jets highlights in this game. What we’ve been seeing is a team that won at the start of the season because they were more physically fit. Now, all the other teams have caught up and passed the Jets. It’s basically a mediocre team.
What happened to the Jets defensive structure? More than 30 shots against for quite a few games now. It also seems like the easiest way to beat Wpg, and I've been saying this for years, is to play your back-up goalie

Jets are fine...their passing is 100% better than last year. If they move into a more realistic win/loss rhythm it's okay.
