Finally someone speaking with some sense. A.J was asked a question and he answered it directly. The media blew this outta proportion. He wasn't huffing and puffing
It's that most people (looking at you, Joe Decamera) assumed and went with their take that AJ specifically meant Hurts. When you have both Dan Orvlovsky calling the Eagles passing schemes 'elementary' and then JonnyPage on X (he does good breakdowns of All22 game film) also saying he doesn't like their passing concepts (one example he pointed out was how they have more than 1 receiver running routes at the same depth instead of staggered) and they aren't building the passing game enough off their #1 run game enough, then there's something else there that's a potential issue. I didn't take it to mean he meant solely Hurts is the problem. I think he wasn't happy that the passing game has turned 'safe' when it can be more explosive and aggressive (that doesn't mean throwing it 35+ times/game). However, Hurts was not good vs Carolina. He was holding the ball too long and not trusting what he was seeing. There were plays there to be made, but for some reason he instead didn't pull the trigger. Come playoff time he's going to have to be more decisive.
@mikeguinness5408 but that's part of the problem bro! Even if I said passing and it's clear Hurts didn't give his best performance I still as a friend and teammate should be able to give an honest critique without the notion I have beef with him Jalen himself said he didn't play well. The media can say. Josh Allen didn't play well, or Lamar Jackson didn't play well, or Joe burrow isn't having his best season and that's no problem because they are critiquing what they see the minute Brown says we need to improve on passing all of a sudden there's drama in the eagles locker room that didn't exist prior and they are beefing. If anything the media is the one that kept up unnecessary drama
Nothing wrong with what he said just a lot of people are very SOFT I grew up old school were if something was wrong we said how we felt and got it fixed
AJ brown was speaking the truth. Because if something happens to Barkley, what are you gonna do? You don't have a passing game. A 105 yd a 108 yd. The last 2 games and the games before that all show weren't that good. So if you don't keep a balance between the run and the pass, you're going to get a crude, especially if something happens to the running game because now you have no passing game.
I am distraught about how they are disrespecting pittsburgh they just said we are the worst in passing and have a terrible run game like we didn’t hold henry to under 50 yards they have said simce this game was announced it’s no question philly is going to win an the steelers are gonna lose every game upcoming and lose in the playoffs and lose the division

Was nothing wrong with what AJ said, it was BG's comments that was the problem. It gets kinda ridiculous Alex Smith criticizing TD passes
