Shout out from Ontario Canada 10-4 Love the trucks over there. There same cabs as here but the wheels and axles are different set up here,,even the cab over KW look like the old ones but just a little more rounded and all the trucks there seem to have double round head lights . Man I'd be scared to drive my rig there I'd have to follow someone cause I'm not use to driving on that side of the road or that side of the cab lol I also gotta say it seems the boys and the company trucks are all beautiful shiney, clean, chrome every where and I wanna hear more Jake brakes ..I'm sure it's music to everyone's ears that awesome sounds mmmmm I can hear some of them at times but it'd be cool to have a video of Jake brakes ,,you see many of our rigs over there?? Anyways I know it's a few years old but still like watching those bad trucks coming around the bend and either pulling hard on the hills or picking the right gear and letting the Jake carrying you down ,,I find the drivers there take pride in there rigs and how they drive ,,keep it up boys love the trucks and like your videos ..I've watched many now and always looking to watch new stuff ..
I can see that Freightliner is big in NZ. I also like the newish model, specially the engine noise and that turbo whistle. Thank you very much for this wonderful upload once again.
Nice set up @3.49!Very impressive indeed.The centre three axles must have a fifth wheel coupling by the looks of it.Will have to buy a model of something like this.Makes a change from the usual 5/6 axle rigid/artic combos.I do like the NZ four axle tractors.No room for those over here in the UK.... Hi trucks displaying the H sticker have permits to run at heavier gross weights on certain roads here. The standard legal gross weight is 44 ton but certain units can now gross up to 50ton with some getting close to 60ton.
The H sticker has to be displayed by units that are certified to carry heavier loads on specicfic roads. Usually loads up to 50 ton but on some roads they are going up to i think 56 ton
It also allows for them to go over the 20 metres limit, up to 26 metres. All of this depends on axle placement etc. And at max length B-doubles they can take 64 ton, with 9 axles on the road.
HAMMERDARK i was goin to ask the same thing. Here in the U.S. we have to have the big yellow wide load, or long load if you've got 3 48ft or longer trailers.
Changing up a gear ascending a hill, these trucks must either be v powerful or half empty of less! Why so many wheels and why is the drawbar so long, allowing plenty of eddying between the rigid & trailer
