They're in a public area, there's a lot of noise. Plus they're not always near the speaker since they're travelling and having different formations. I'm sure the purpose of it is that so they can still keep up with the beat of the song even if they're too far from the speaker. Also, I'm pretty sure this sidecam is near the speaker that's why it's so loud in the video.
