Good work Brandon, yeah alot of those old houses have no perimeter drain an if they do they are in bad shape or clogged or whatever, great job, clean work, thanks for sharing 💪🇺🇸
Great video. This is a project where you better know what you’re doing - or else. And, as with everything else you do, you ace it. The personal effort you add to each project is stunning. There is a real commitment to quality in everything you do. No wonder you’re so busy.
I mean, WHO would leave/allow an ELECTRICAL feed on the ground like that? (Strange codes over there!) Anyway, nice job BRANDON along with close up camera work (puts us in the hole as you work it!) Glad you didn't have to deal with a rock quarry underground on this one. Look forward to the next and thank you! Sonny
Well, that was pretty simple to dig out for ya. Not many of those come along very often. Most of the time, there's 47 different utilities to dig around. Lol. You did a great job my friend. Stay safe bud.
Good job but I have watched and read that with basements that you should leave dirt next to the outer wall.. now you have water at some point next to the wall instead of a dirt barrier that can drain into the drain next to it.
Thanks! I only left about a foot of dirt the water can easily soak through that and find the rock and makes its way to the drain no problem. Clean rock is natural filtration the water runs through almost quicker than it does even in the pipe
I was just thinking…. He’s gonna have to bench that… and the next scoop, you started the bench! I guess watching Frank is making me a UA-cam trench expert too! Do you suppose they’ll have you bury that electric feed while you are there? It would be a shame to leave it strung across the ground. That is a bit more fixer-upper than I want to tackle. I bet you the inside is just as nice as the outside! Did you peek in the windows?
Yes definitely needed to bench it back. It’s gutted inside, it’s quite the gem lol! I buried a sleeve in the rock but they said they would bury the rest. It’s a pain to work around. Appreciate you watching
Hello sir! Glad to see work still going well ! Been doing other things so not been watching! But will make some time to catch up So any more on Mrs. EE Calender!!!! Like the song says Hotter than a two dollar pistol.
Yeah it does some aren’t as bad as others but it still wears on you lol! That’s what I owned before I got the 260. The 153 would definitely be awesome for this job. Appreciate you watching
I seen this guy do the same thing on Instagram !!!! Lol. You need to post here first B !! Don't confuse me like that. Make my brain hurt.🤕. Still a nice job thow !!!
I always run oem brands. Bridgestone is who makes Takeuchi tracks. The aftermarkets one are not built as good and don’t last near as long. The savings on the aftermarkets isn’t enough for the hours they last
@@eliteearthworksllc okei we stopped using that tare paint (if it's the same?) many years ago since it won't let the wall breath. We have sement sealer, isolation (it's cold here). And than plastic with bumps in it to let the air pass true to remove moisture, pipe and clean rock sorounded by fabric that functions as an filter. Then again when we dig up houses with that tare paint it's terrible to remove. But anyways what ever that is done is better than what was there from before. Most important is the pipe so water has somewhere to go 😊
@@MiniMachines1 that’s interesting it’s neat to hear how different parts of the world do it. And yes I don’t think it gets as cold here as it does for you guys. Appreciate the info
I'm glad that's done, I got sweaty palms and thought I was gona have a nervous breakdown with all the gas lines, phone lines, main power, hell for a grand finale I figured we was gona end up in the turd tank or a old cistern. lol You did a nice job there! Did you paint the 260, sure did look shiny?
While you had those basement walls exposed they should have wrapped them with a water proof membrane. This and your French drain would have guaranteed the water leaks would be stopped. Walls look like they may have had an asphalt coating applied sometime in the past.
@@eliteearthworksllc , Guess i should just be quiet and just watch your videos. I’m glad my suggestion was correct even though i should just watch. Something i enjoy doing very much. Thank you for sharing! And I’m looking forward to your next one.
Good work Brandon, yeah alot of those old houses have no perimeter drain an if they do they are in bad shape or clogged or whatever, great job, clean work, thanks for sharing 💪🇺🇸
Thank you! Yeah you probably run into that a lot. It’s crazy they didn’t install these back in the day. Appreciate you watching

You did a great job operating that excavator, you definitely know what your doing !
Thank you! I appreciate that!
Nice job building those terraces in.
Thanks! Definitely helps from keeping the ditch from falling in
I love to watch you as you do care about the job at hand, very good , stay safe and can't wait for the rest.
Thank you! I appreciate that! I try too
Looking great Brandon
Thank you!
Something different. Good video.
Yep I do like a variety of jobs. Thank you!
Hiwdy Elites! 🤠 Good spot for some dimple board.
Yes it would 😁 we used MarFlex foundation sealer. It really wasn’t too bad

Is the place even worth saving....LOL. Looks like allot of work needs to be done. Great vid and enjoy watching.
That’s what I said 🤣 they are completely remodeling it. I think it would have been better to doze then start over
@@eliteearthworksllc I agree but.... however if their gonna throw some money your way ......then not so bad for you.....LOL
Digging in that rock must get old after awhile. I have a TB153FR an FR series excavator would be very handy on job's like this.

Yes that is nice
Thanks.

Hadn’t watched your videos in a few months. You have improved as an operator and as a video maker. Thanks for great content to watch.
Thank you! I appreciate that!
So the TB260 must be for small compact work, and the 2150 is for large jobs like that theme park you did.
Yes the 2150 is way too big for stuff like this that’s why I need both.
Are you able to excavate all 4 sides of a home to water proof the basement at one time? Or is that unsafe
No it’s fine you can excavate the whole thing
I seen this guy do the same thing on Instagram !!!! Lol. You need to post here first B !! Don't confuse me like that. Make my brain hurt.🤕. Still a nice job thow !!!
🤣🤣 the guy on Instagram has an easier time just uploading pictures he’s always quicker 😁

Any advice on brands for rubber mini excavator tracks replacement? Any body heard of Summit? Or Dominion? Trojan? Thanks in advance.
I always run oem brands. Bridgestone is who makes Takeuchi tracks. The aftermarkets one are not built as good and don’t last near as long. The savings on the aftermarkets isn’t enough for the hours they last
Brandon, How much time did it take you to do just the excavating?
Maybe 4-5 hours
I gotta do this....uuhhhhhh. I gotta do that...uuuhhhh. My name is chuck...uuuhhhh. You sound like my daughter when I tell her to clean her room. lmao
🤣 yep
Clean ditch, looks like nice dirt to dig in 😊👌 you don't use plastic to let the wall breath and get moisture to go down?
Thank you! No we paint the walls with a sealer then put a pipe at the bottom of the footing and backfill with clean rock

@@raymondrussell500 lol no problem I don’t think I mentioned anything about it in this video so you wouldn’t have known 👍🏻
What's the cost to dig a trench about 8 ft deep. 3 walls 8' x 15'?
It really depends on what the ground is like I usually just do day rates on most everything
How much should you dig down in general?
You need to dig to the bottom of the footing so it just depends how far down that is
How much does a job like this cost?
Depends on the size of the house. I think this job was $12k
What’s a total estimated cost for this project? Here in ohio we get on average about $10k for a full foundation water proofing start to finish.
Yes this was right at $10k for this one. That’s about the average here too
What do you do about pipes?
Burying them along the footing and daylight then out in the yard
I take it you didn't hear any banjo music on this job...
Luckily no 🤣🤣
Zero tail swing would be nice for a job like this. Nonetheless nice work 👍
Yeah that would have been handy. Thanks!
How much was this job ?
I’d have to go back and look maybe $15k-$18k
Not worth comment. We don't fun on folks
Ok 👍🏻

🤣 there wasn’t that much talk but I guess you know everything that’s going on without explaining it. Why keep watching my videos if I talk too much?
