Pretty much all compact cameras ESPECIALLY waterproof ones the microphones pick up noise from the auto focus and aperture. Even my handicap picks up noise from the cameras focus and stabilization systems. That is why an external mic is almost a must for most cameras.
I see someone messed with the floor button. My sister and I did that to a lobby call button for a Westinghouse traction in a hospital. The elevator "got" us by descending to the first floor then taking us back to the fourth and back to 1 before letting us off.
The classic ending with the camera cover coming up. Where'd Zax run off to? The future has long since come, and gone for that Ice Cream. I can buy it in the supermarket. Not very ADA-friendly those ADA compliant phones... especially in that freight elevator. I got a little nostalgic and watched your video with Wildeeper from 8 years ago. It didn't end too well for you on the phone. Hope all went well in the end.
Man TX20 really was ahead of its time people were spending all sorts of crazy money to get the same if not worse video quality on giant cameras while the tx20 made it easy and affordable not to mention its 2024 and looks completely normal for everyday use
The otis elevator was obviously added in later, did people have to ride the service elevators before that? Or was there another elevator that got removed?
This is so nostalgic. As much as I appreciate how incredibly high phone cameras are in quality nowadays, you can never go wrong with digital cameras like this. Might even invest in one to shoot some videos on...
Shoot if i knew you was there i would have went. Also what did y’all think of that downpour of rain we got earlier this week, whole mall parking lot was flooded, same with the Wal-Mart across the way.
So much noise from the camera itself. That was why I never bought any TX-cameras back in the day.

Honestly, the Sony TX line still shoots amazing quality video
It really does! It could still be used for modern videos totally fine.

This is similar to the TX10!
Pretty much the same. just faster.
You should go to a different place and film with your Sony TX-10!! That would be even more nostalgic
+Elevatorman23 DEFINITELY!!! :D
Yep :) I found it too and will take it out soon!
@@DieselDucy Nice!! Can't wait to see!!
@@Elevatorman23tune in to my channel Saturday 😊 may have a treat coming
Nice camera. All I ever use is my iPhone because my good camera isn’t being so good right now.
Same here but it is fun to get the old cams out from time to time.

Yeah even today the 10 and 20 are still more than acceptable quality.
Amazing fun
It was!
Is the Valley View Mall located in Roanoke VA?
Yes
Yes. Up by the airport.
The otis elevator was obviously added in later, did people have to ride the service elevators before that? Or was there another elevator that got removed?
It was put in in the 90 s. The westy with the rear door used to be the only public elevator
This mall brings back wonderful memories. Amazing elevators that run great.
Thanks

Yeah. Actually bought a few vintage ones to review.
I LOVE your old cameras! Thanks for temporarily bringing this back!
The TX10 and T900 may go on an adventure soon!

Happy Juneteenth, Andrew!

I've ridden them a bunch of times
Awesome!
Otis - installed in 1980s
Westinghouse service elevator - installed in 1985
this is from the 90s

Why Do You Close The Camera Lens Instead Of Pressing The Button To Stop Recording??
Because it is the iconic ending of my old videos.
It turns the camera off.
@@officialSgtPepperArc360 i know it turns it off by why cant he just press the stop recording button and then press the power button
Amazing and Epic elevators!
Thanks!
Nice Next Do The TX10 And The T900
