I agree!! If the writers don’t make this happen they wasted such amazing chemistry and such good writing and build up! I think it would kill all of us fans If it doesn’t happen
What I love about Ethan is he showed her how a guy is supposed to treat a girl. Kristina got to see what a healthy, positive interaction between a guy and girl looks like. I love them together, although I understand Ethan's wariness with her age. Even if they never end up together in soap opera world, he showed her what a healthy guy-girl friendship looks like. It wasn't one-sided, with him doing all of the support. Granted, he may have done more of that simply due to her having a lot of things come up in her life. However, she supported him, too. He helped her see that not all men are like Kiefer. I think having Ethan in her life was a great protective factor in her developing perspective of guys and relationships. She saw that relationships can be positive; that was important in her healing. Great friendship and great ship pairing!
To echo the other commenter here, this is a great comment. I absolutely love and agree with all you said. I think that’s why I have such a soft spot for these two after all these years. It was a very…pure bond between them. Even if just as friends. That’s why I hate now that the past bond is never even referenced. It was/is so special to me. I credit that to the writing back then, as well as the genuine chemistry between the actors. Such an underrated pair these two always have been.

STILL waiting on this promise! I really want the writers to finally get Kristina/Ethan together. I know Nathan aka Ethan guest stared early this year but he never had a scene with Kristina. I thought for sure the writers would have written Ethan back in by now (maybe with another actor since Nathans on Roswell). They never really got their shot. It was getting past needy "damsel in distress" Kristina into a REAL friendship with these two. I was excited to see it progress a bit more. They are a storyline that never was.

Ethan and Kristina are grown adults now and the age nor experience is an issue. I hope that Ethan is Kristina's endgame when GH ends because I like foreshadowing being fulfilled. If she had a relationship after Ethan that was as deep, good to her, had chemistry, had family ties to the canvas as Ethan had, I would be ok with that. But Krissy's ships have been failures or nipped too early. Now she's never on and I want the character to be happy with someone who would love her and be good to her. Nathan Parsons' recent open-ended visit made me optimistic that he'd come back for another short visit (to save Holly) and the show would actually write them reconnecting then.

Even if they get him back for a few more episodes to wrap up the Holly stuff eventually, yes, it would be the perfect time to reconnect them even just for an episode or two. I mean, hey, it’s a soap, quick hookups happen all the time, right lol? This one would be over a decade in the making. I also feel so strongly that they should be endgame. You can’t have a soap character say “I’m going to marry you someday” and have the buildup they had, and not bookend that. It’s just so wrong and irresponsible to “forget” that. I agree, none of her other ships ever took off or had the lasting power that this one did. That’s why him being her endgame would make even more sense. I mean, people still remember them and want them together a decade later. How often does that happen with ships that never even technically “set sail?”

PLEASE PLEASE BRING BACK NATHAN PARSONS... AS ETHAN I LOVED ETHINA THEY COULD HAVE BEEN A GREAT COUPLE....GH MISSED THE MARK WITH THIS ONE...BUT THEY CAN REDEEM THIS EVEN NOW LEXI BACK ON THE SHOW AS KRISTINA.....I LOVE WATCHING THESE SCENES OF THEM TOGETHER...

I love these scenes because that was such a bold move on Kristina's part. She stated that with such authority and she didn't need him to respond. She just kinda gave him the side-eye like, "yea, I know, even if you don't" and then rested her head on his chest. She's a G! Daddy's girl for sure lol.
It's so obvious he loves her and all the mayan fans that say he's just being nice here's and FYI he doesn't act like that with anybody else not even Maya and i believe if he didn't truly like her he wouldn't go above and beyond for her!
