@@anakinskywalker2311 LOD stands for "level of detail" essentially it goes as this see this cool detailed thing infront of you? well, take a few steps back and... now it has LESS detail! this is done for optimization purposes
@anakinskywalker2311It's Level of Detail I think(?) but in short it's how detailed a model appears from distance, you can notice especially in R&C games (as described in ACiT's Insomniac Museum) how enemies but also the environment lose detail the further they are from the player to save on memory and GPU.
@mr.marvin yea, makes sense. Besides the jokes in the og trilogy were really edgy and that's what made them fun... I don't think that the studio would be able to get away with them this time around.
@@anonymousejr I could never take the devs seriously again after they labeled the first game "cringy" after making the reboot's story exactly that. The PS2 Ratchets were some of the best games I ever witnessed and to hear that from the people who made it... it's depressing to think about.
In Secret Agent Clank, can you explore the Countess's ballroom on foot as Clank?
Currently it can only be viewed during the button mashing gameplay
My god I hated this sections so much
That level's one of the most beautiful and interesting in the game, for me at least. I'd love to see if it could be explorable too
i was confused as to why they bothered with putting LOD on the ship until i realised that it was going to be visible for space combat
Yeah that would have been cool to see finalized
My friend what's an LOD, you mean the starship customisation?

Starship Phoenix is truly magnificent! Thanks for showing this
Amazing Dude! Awesome work.
Blarg warship were cool too!
Nice view, now I guess you can substitute Ratchet's spaceship with this model
hell yeah
Its beautiful...
Never thought that Rutchet is actually Wojak's Boomer Boss :O
Wow man how do you find the ship model? that's was pretty cool
I knew it had to be somewhere, and I forced it to appear
can you do obani draco ? :)
i need more shit
I want an actual model of this on my desk lol
cool
that is so cool
hopefully a UYA remake we have Starship Phoenix be visible outside
They're gonna do a remake?
@@anonymousejr not sure, but wish it be cool through
I don't think we're ever getting a remake of UYA or Going Commando. The next Ratchet game will most likely be a sequel to Rift Apart.
