Fun video! Definitely don't see how you'd make a Stage 2 Pokemon that takes 4 energy to attack and effectively only has 110 HP / 60 HP (depending on how many times you actually attack with it) work, despite its huge damage output. Fun to see the effort, though! I appreciate getting to see a bad deck in action sometime. I don't know if I'd call Brock a Misty "low roll." Misty's expected energy output is exactly 1 (that's the sum of the infinite series 1/2 + 1/4 + 1/8 + 1/16...), but practically, it's rare that anything past the first 3 energy matters, and sometimes you really only need her to give you 1 or 2. So realistically, her expected value is less than 1 energy. This is on top of the fact that consistency tends to be better than randomness in games like this. I imagine that's why Brock is restricted to specific Pokemon, while Misty can target any Water-type; because his effect is better. Imagine starting with Misty in your hand and going first meant you could always, 100% of the time, start attacking with Starmie EX or Golduck on your second turn. Good luck pulling some Arcanine EXs for the event!

Having onix and golem is too energy hungry for them to be together unfortunately.
Yea i 100% agree. I feel like theres maybe some way to play with Onix and have it sweep. But Golem? Idk...
It definitely requires some good luck but i have fun with this deck and get some decent wins
