Episode Summary:
Shoka finds Rindo on top of the 104 building, where he is usually. She teases him about the nickname he chose to introduce himself as. She states that he didn’t seem to like the nickname Swallow before now. Rindo argues back about how annoying she was being. And she comments on how he is in a bad mood, which is why she sought him out. She wants to know why Rindo introduced himself as Swallow and if he used to know Fret because Rindo was a Shibuya Reaper. She tells him she had seen him watching Fret on more than one occasion. Rindo tells her to shut up because she doesn't understand the situation. Then he reminisces about how Fret was his only friend and the only one who cared about him before Rindo died. Rindo doesn’t think it’s fair that Fret is in the game, especially when it is unwinnable at this point in time. He also comments on how different Fret felt now and wonders if it was because of him.
Shoka realizes that Rindo was very upset about this turn of events, even if she didn’t know the details. She apologizes for pushing. And she tries to offer him some encouragement, but Rindo tells her that they both knew there wasn’t a chance. Rindo was upset over the fact that the game wasn’t about winning rather, it was about survival, and that happened after the Shinjuku reapers took over. Shoka agrees that the game wasn’t fun anymore.
