That first iteration of the ABB is immortal - I mean, here we are, 50 years later and the music has not aged at all, they were that good. Even w/out Duane and Berry, they were really good for a season. Genius hard to capture.....

Went to my first Allman Brothers Band show in 95 saw around 15 shows till 09. They are one of the best bands to see live ever. R.I.P Dickey in Blue Sky's!

Grinder Switch J.J. Cale I don't know what you listened to, but all of those bands and musicians were top notch. Even their kids and cousins are keeping the Southern Rock alive.
Dickey Betts gave a lot of credit to Chuck Leavell and said he really made the song “Jessica” great.🎹🎵
Ramblin man has left us but will NEVER be forgotten with his iconic guitar play.
