Having travelled in almost types of RTC buses in Kerala, Maharashtra and Karnataka, I must say Karnataka RTC is the best. Their buses are well maintained and most important the staffs are very friendly and cooperative
Sir Launch Sleeper BMTC buses too at a premium fare, we will surely travel, anyways we will fall asleep in traffic so Sleeper journey will be comfortable for Long distance travel in Bengaluru.
I don't know why people exaggerate Bengaluru traffic so much especially those who comes from other states. I agree that our traffic is very bad but everyone wants to drive a car on road and expect no traffic on the road. BMTC is known to be best transportation system in few more years metro starts operating in IT corridors. People should use as much as public transport system to avoid traffic, by the way i have seen UP, Biharis making fun about our traffic to gain attention in social media while their own states doesn't even have proper roads for vehicles movement 😂. Upon that vehicle drivers doesn't have minimum patience on the road while driving they don't even know basic traffic rules.

If this reduces the traffic which seems to be a problem in Karnataka then good. Also I think the free pass should be made to be renewed every 6 months to reduce the burden on exchequer
