- Carl Philipp Stamitz (1745-1801) was a German composer. He was the most prominent representative of the second generation of the Mannheim School. This piece, the Flute Concerto in G Major, op. 29, was composed in 1780 ca. for flute and orchestra. The cadences played are the ones from Rampal, with little variations.
