Hey, great trick. Was this done in the remastered or the prepare to die edition? Because I'm trying myself at a bow-only run and I just can't get it to work.
@@WakeUpThisMorning_ not working for me, I manage to went up there 3 time. The boss never followed me. But from up there I throw him fire ball and chaos fire ball, wich end up killing him xD
@@zura1. the black flame/combustion spam forces gwyn's AI to repeatedly sidestep, but still gets hit by the spell. So he just dies. Alternatively you can use a reinforced club and just bonk him to death, do two hits (it'll stagger) then walk behind him while regenning stamina and repeat. Anyone can do it you just need to dodge the first attack.
He bloody got out of the spot for me 🤣 time to try again
Patched the boss doesnt go into the glitch spot he'll just slide up hit you and fall back down
Pyromancy does a lot of damage so no need for arrows
To get up there you jump and keep rolling
I would rather fight a real fight like lord Gwynn wanted

This is from the remastered, but it works in the PTDE as well. It took me a couple of tries to get this.

I did this on 2/10/22 but he got out twice lol.. definitely helpful though!!

Honestly if you need to cheese Gwyn you shouldn’t be fighting him yet
