Still working in 2023!! Why the hell was mcafee allowed to keep doing this.. I scanned my pc and it didn't show anything but mcaffee just kept poping up. Reset and all gone. No removing of a virus, just reset, ugh.

Hi, as I have tested on my computer, it does not change the browser settings, it only delete all your web browser bookmarks. you need to recreate it after try this. I look for a time to create a video how to backup and restore the bookmarks that will save everyone times..

sorry to hear that, it did not happen to me after I remove it. can you reboot your system and try to remove it once more time. try not to install or access to the links that you don't know. for example: when you search for your printer driver (Brother etc..) from google search, it might link to the virus website. go direct to www.borther.com to download the driver.
