- It amazes me how I can articulate myself so clearly and well and people still hear what they want to hear. 10 years ago I called TD Jakes TD Fakes in a video. For no reason other than my upbringing. I was taught everybody with influence was fake. When I was at my lowest moments when no one was there for me I felt led to just click on a sermon of his on UA-cam. During that season of my life I wanted to just throw in the towel and quit. I was so discouraged but God used TD Jakes messages to keep me going. THAT IS THE 100 PERCENT truth no matter if you like it or not. So the Holy Spirit convicted me a few months ago about dishonor. The Bible says give honor to whom honor is due. It doesn't say if they do everything right give honor. It doesn't say only if you agree with them on everything give honor. It doesn't say only if they never made mistake give honor. It says give honor to whom honor is due. I dishonored him pubically and his messages were the ones that ended up keeping me together in the hardest storm of my life. So it's only right that I apologized pubically. I don't care how anybody feels about that. I did what the Holy Spirit convicted me to do and I got Bible to back it up. I'll take whatever hits come with that as long as I know God is pleased with me.
With that being said I saw some real demonic responses to this video. Anytime you say something that isn't true that is a lie. If your using a lie to attack someone that is demonic. I saw people saying TD Jakes made me make that video, and that he was signing me to a record deal, and that he paid for the stadium we were just in and that I had become a Mason. It is absolutely disturbing how deceived Christians can be. Literally blows my mind. I have never talked to TD Jakes and from what I do know about him he probably doesn't like how I operate nor does he agree with my political views. Stop saying the Holy Spirit showed yall something when it's a straight lie. Pray about everything for yourself because people are just crazy. - Розваги

Thank you Marcus, same thing with Joyce Meyer, she talked on psalms on Joni table talk I tell you I got a revelation I needed! I was shocked now I know it’s biblical! I always referred to it as eat the fish and spit out the bones. I never outright agreed with Joyce but her message on psalms was a blessing. My pastor even said at benni hinn whom he did not like or agree with, he asked God to show him if he’s legit, at his sermon benni waved his hand and that whole front row he was in(and how he got the front row was a God move to) but when he waved his hand they all fell back like a power of the Holy Ghost. My pastor said from then forward he never questioned anyone publicly again.

Whenever I think my life sucks, I think about what Jesus went through. He was perfect yet He was born to suffer just so I might have a way to communicate with The Father and obtain salvation on a daily basis. The big picture of Jesus's Life on earth is truely amazing and causes my problems to seem minimal and trivial. Every day I try to stay humble and watch my thinking and yeild my thoughts to God. Everyday I grow a little bit stronger than before. Only to glorify God, Jesus, and Holy Spirit bcuz they create the good changing within my existence.
Life is amazing! With God, I don't struggle like I did when I was living for myself. He continues to change me and continues to work on me. And if He works on me, He works on y'all.

I am not 💯 on TD Jakes on everything he had preached, but there were times I believe God lead me to him in times when I needed a specific word, and it blessed me!

I used to listen to TD and he blessed me tremendously. I went to his church once and unfortunately and strangely I got a severe migraine. I no longer listen but I would if I was led ! I am Better than no one and as soon as we think we are God will remind me that I’m definitely not !!

I’ve been attending TD Jakes Sunday morning and Wednesday night Bible study for a few years now. Every single time, he confirms what the Holy Spirit was teaching me and talking to me about that week. Sometimes the Holy Spirit will give me a dream or put something in my mind in the morning, a specific phrase, like pondering what it means to “come in to agreement” with someone, and without fail, it will peep up in TD Jakes next sermon. Sometimes I think he pushes a little too much for offering, but he seems to genuinely want people to learn to rely on God and to contribute to God’s purpose; I mean he is reaching millions of people, and the Holy Spirit is with him. Without a doubt. He has the gift of prophecy and Paul said you can tell if someone has the gift by what they say being true. But it is also important not to worship a pastor, and I don’t. No one is perfect. That’s my 2 cents. I’m proud of you, Marcus, for admitting maybe you made a mistake and you want to give honor where it’s due. I hope TD Jakes does reach out to you and even mentors you. Sending ❤. Keep going. Your love for God shines through. That is all that matters.
Hey, God used Creflo Dollar in my low season to help me. While so many only spoke about him teaching on money, it was his teachings on God's love for me, How to increase your prayer life, Living a life of worship, God is bigger than your problem and How to trouble your trouble, that lifted me and taught me how trust and cling to God. Literally changed my life. After which God led me to the church where I've for the last 17yrs, I became a worship leader, leading thousands weekly into God's presence, Ordained minister and taught Bible College for 6yrs. Religious people always place a limit on God and how He can help people but I thank God for that day He woke me up to watch BET right when Creflo Dollar was on over 20yrs ago

I've moved beyond TDJ (as it seems he has moved beyond the faith) but his sermon "And The Yoke Shall Be Destroyed" changed my life. A few others, but that one💯🙏🏾.
I was attending Elevation Church for sometime. The main church in Charlotte. One day we were late coming in and we had to sit in overflow which is in the lobby. It’s definitely not the same experience as being in the auditorium. People are less likely to worship as much because there is so much distraction from others moving around and coming in and out of the building. I was so upset. I didn’t even want to be there anymore. And then Steven Furtick came on the tv screens to preach and it hit me like a ton of bricks. God asked me, Did you come here to worship and praise me and listen to my word or did you come for the worship team and Steven Furtick. Boy I felt ashamed. I sat down and listened to the word given. For days I reflected and decided I wasn’t driving 45 minutes to hear the word when there was a Elevation Church branch in my part of town. We continued to go but eventually we stopped going to Elevation Church all together. My spirit just wasn’t satisfied anymore with it. I also realized sometimes he would talk a lot about his church. He elevated it a lot and to me it was kind of too much. Almost too prideful. I still watch sometimes but I needed a more humble church one that seemed more thankful to God about where the church is than what a pastor can create. Steven Furtick is a great speaker but the dramatics to me is a bit much. It’s funny just this weekend my current church youth leader preached and he said that they are taught how to string people’s emotions in seminary college and my first thought was of Steven Furtick. The youth pastor said he never wants to be that kind of preacher but to allow the Holy Spirit to guide him. When it comes to Marcus Rogers I can see the Holy Spirit working through him. He doesn’t bow to his followers to keep them appeased, no matter what they think. It’s a blessing. Oh and this post isn’t to bash Steven Furtick, he is a great speaker and has some really good sermons. It just wasn’t for me anymore.

I have a similar experience with Elevation. I began to feel a starving for God’s Word and realized that I needed a smaller intimate setting which focused on the Holy Spirit.
I’m from Charlotte as well first time I saw SF the Holy Spirit said No Anointing at all don’t go.. do not sit under that ministry .. that church is more emotional and moved by hype than the power of God.. out of all that worship No yolks destroyed no no devils cast out no mighty move of God..when you’ve experienced and seen the power of God move you will understand the signs that follow them that believe .. they are like other speakers they are good motivational speakers and full of spiritual ego.. You got to know the word of God for yourselves ..
Sad part is the spirit of Ichabod is in the church (the glory of the Lord has departed )and they can’t even sense it because a counterfeit spirit has taken over .. zero consecration zero sanctification.. I’ll never go to his church Ive been to churches exactly like this and know what they are on and what they are about ..and how they work and they all work on the same formula .. when it’s like this not all big ministries operate like this but when you can discern the pastor then you can discern the ministry.. and yes you can judge the church the Bible says judgement must first begin at the household of Faith ..

It’s been years since I’ve seen videos, which was not even through youtube but through facebook. 4 days ago, I wanted to get close to God, and surrender myself to God. I fell away from God first awhile because I came from a legalistic church and when I started going through a wilderness, they look at you as you must not be spiritual enough. I believed it and I thought maybe I wasn’t good enough for God. It was when I visited TD Jakes church and he preached about it rains on the wicked and it rains on the righteous. It blew my mind and set me free from so many years of condemnation. His preachings really touched my life after so many things I grew up to believe. I really didn’t know about grace and Gods love or who I am in Christ. It breaks my heart when so many people who are Christians want to break down other ministries, so thank you for everything you said.

Good Word, Marcus! We must study to show ourselves approved! The best thing to do when people come at you is to ignore them don't try to defend yourself. In the end master the skill of living for an audience of one. What I am learning is when I don't try to defend myself, which is the trap, the truth will stand through the deception and you would've saved yourself heartache and pain. Thank you for being a man of God and demonstrating because no matter God is too big!! He uses anyone to reach His children and sometimes it takes a message to speak to your spirit and then when you ask God into your life. You learn what just "feels" good or what is "filling" the Holy Spirit... as a baby christian i needed at the time to hear the "gummy bear" message because my whole life the hell and brimstone (which pushed me farther from God) because it was poured into my life telling "God loves me" but I wasnt going to recieve it because of "who i am and i was going to hell" when i heard Steven Furtick in my drinking days a message spoke to me and after i gave my life to God i would listen to him and Michael Todd, blessed for both of them as well as i pray for both of them but they gave me a kind of love i was looking for God to have but as i spiritually started to grow the enemy took me for a spin of who was right or wrong and the Truth is we all can be right at a point and we all are wrong at another point. My encouragement for all christian but most of all the baby chriatian keep strong with God He will show you where to be and who will lift your spirit and not on a junk food level but a Daniel level (not wanting to eat what the king had to offer but only eat what God had for him) or Peter level (what God has cleaned dont call unclean) my world was upside down for a while with mixed emotions "am i saved?"or "was i tricked by the enemy?" and all these calling out christian to extent i understand but they cause more confusion and pain than they help towards the "baby christian" that didnt have a church foundation growing up. But even they are needed to help you make sure your not just loving God for the "feel good moments" he does for us but for us to be building love for Him because HE FIRST LOVED US AND SENT JESUS TO DIE FOR US out of a chance we would choose Him
When people keep having these issues with other people and their faith walk, I wonder if they even know God! As a true lover of Jesus Christ, I am at peace with people. Discernment is what I pray for if I'm concerned but never judgemental.

By the way, one of Jakes books, really blessed and helped me back in those days too. I think as we grow up in God's word, we're able to see and hear truth more clearly. I just had some things that I repented of and frankly don't care what people think, my soul is right with my heavenly Father and that's what matters with me. What you did was honorable and you are absolutely correct. My testimony when i was 17 years old i received a phone call from my father that he was dying and he wanted to see me before he passed he was diagnosed with COPD. Now my dad wasn't in my life a lot so i had a grudge in my heart against my father. So after the phone call was over. I said to my mom I'm not going to see that man he wasn't there for me now this is the grudge in my heart talking. My mom said to me son your going to respect and honor your father wish my mom look me in my eye and said to me: regardless of who he was and if he was there for you are not you still must honor your father. Mom said to me its not right for you to honor your mother and low rate your father or vice versa. Looking back at it now. I AM SO GLAD MY MOTHER HEARD FROM THE LORD AND GAVE ME THIS WISDOM BECAUSE THIS IS WHAT ALLOWED ME TO BE ABLE TO HOLD THE ANOINTING OF GOD IN MY LIFE. MAY THIS TESTIMONY BE A BLESSING TO SOME ONE LIFE. PLEASE HONOR YOUR FATHER AND MOTHER.
I was and still kind of am still following him, I'm just now being enlightened by his false prophecies, but his sermons got me through sooo much and encouraged me. Just recently, I realized that he preaches prosperity and that you will be delivered but it's in his time on his word and it's confusing to people that aren't yet wise to know that it doesn't matter what the pastor is preaching when it's your season it's your season and nothing he says is going to change that but people are fooled to believe it. I always remember "3 days 3 ways" sow a $33 seed, I had been out of work for a year still out of work, desperate in full blown spiritual warfare, fasted. Didn't really have the $33 to sow because I hadn't had any income in months! I sowed it, prayed over it, prayed daily the 3rd day came Wednesday and I was just looking dumbfounded and foolish. He feeds off of your desperation, I don't know what to call that but I put a pause on the sermons this wasn't long ago maybe a month or so ago there was something special going on Pentecost, I'm not sure. All I know is after that I started seeing all these UA-cam videos on how he's a false prophet, and his Billion Dollar deal with Wells Fargo etc. At this point I'm not attending any church sermons. There are not many that can be trusted at this point. God has lead me to another outlet and I have been growing in the Holy Spirit leaving my baby flesh.

Bishop Jakes blessed many of us for years and years, then we joined in with the destructive talk against him. I have finally learned it is ok to disagree with someone you love, without wanting them destroyed.

I’m so glad you said this Man of God. I was having a conversation with a friend a few days ago about all of these people who are exposing other pastors and prophets. That is their entire platform. Discernment is nowhere in some of this stuff. It’s blatant lies. Discernment not only reveals to you what’s wrong but it also reveals what’s good and right. You don’t owe anyone anything but God. I'll never forget the first message I ever heard Bishop Jakes preach! I didn't even know who he was!! Before that night, I'd never heard of him! He was the final speaker of the night at our annual conference! It was pretty late and I'd already attended three services and was tired, so I decided to head back to our room. My roommate and I were getting up to leave when the Holy Spirit spoke to me in an audible voice and said, "STAY!" I turned around immediately and asked my roommate if she wanted to stay a little longer. She agreed! I'm telling y'all, by the time that man finished what the Lord had given him to deliver to His people, folk everywhere were running and shouting and screaming and dancing and leaping and laying out on the floor! I remember screaming out loud, "Lord!!!!!!! Who is this man?!!!!". All I remember after that is my hat going one way; my shoes going another and me laying prostrate on the floor crying and speaking in tongues! I don't know how I ended up down by the stage from wayyyyy in the back!!! The glory released in that auditorium was unexplainable and unforgettable!!!!! We could not stop praising the Lord! It was after 4a in the morning before I stepped on the elevator heading to my room. I was still drunk in the Spirit! 😅 I don't think anybody slept much that night! Nobody wanted to leave! His message was, "Get Away From That Gate!" Lord have mercy!!! Oooh whee! That was one of the most powerful sermons I had ever heard.....IN MY LIFE!! I still have the tape! 😏 And I've been blessed many times over from his ministry! It seems as if every message he delivers is timely and powerful! I'm extremely cautious when it comes to touching God's anointed! And Bishop T.D. Jakes is definitely anointed! Okay, I've said enough! 😏 Be blessed!

Brother Marcus, I used to watch and listen to TD Jakes. I even attended one of his conferences. There are numerous ministries I used to listen to but no more. God’s Spirit has instructed me to follow a different path (away from these ministries). Because I still follow the path of righteousness, and acknowledge Jesus Christ as my personal Savior, I will always follow the voice of the Holy Spirit. Brother Marcus, I was wondering why the Spirit's leading kept me from listening to these individuals. After doing my research. I now see why! By THEIR fruit we will know them.
