- The sugar effect is the hottest trend in nail art and Kiara Sky Dip Powder is perfect for this creative textured look featuring Our Special Guest Nail Tech @nailedbyterry. Just add some artwork using gel polish and sprinkle with your favorite color dip powder!
Apply dip powder normally to build the nail. Apply dip top coat and let air dry. Next comes the fun part! Using gel polish create a design. Then sprinkle the desired color of dip powder on top of the gel design. Cure under a lamp for 30 seconds and proceed to dust off any excess powder. Voila! A beautifully designed, dip powder manicure.

No Top coat or sealer, jut leave it like that. Its actually quite amazing how long it stays on!

Just one question- if you use nail extensions and want to change the colour how do you know until where to file- I have very brittle nails and am worried that there is not a base acrylic coat and it looks like it has to be filed up to the natural nail. Isn't it going to thin the nail after several colour changes...
Hi Svetlana, if you are using a natural dip before you apply color, it will be very easy to watch as the color fades and the natural powder appears. If you are not using natural. I would get as much color off as you are comfortable with and then apply a new color. You will be surprised how well the dip powders hide a previous color.
