  • BackyardBend is all about celebrating our Central Oregon “Community Inspired”. One example is the work being done with the wild horses of the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs by the Warm Springs Horse Network and Safe Acres Animal Sanctuary in Redmond. In this video we’re pleased to introduce you to Robbi Pruitt with WSHN and Vicki Bennett for Safe Acres Animal Sanctuary. Since 2014, Robbi and her WSHN team have placed over 1200 wild Warm Springs horses into happy homes; and in the process are raising the stature and value of these incredible horses. Likewise, Vicki Bennett and her husband Travis have also devoted themselves to the horses of the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs; gentling these wonderful animals prior to adoption, as well as providing a safe haven for so many other lovely animal souls. Are you thinking of bringing a horse into your family? Would you like to make a difference in the lives of these life changing native horses? Then get in touch with Robbi at WSHN or Vicki at Safe Acres. Make a difference. Be inspired. Our thanks to local partners Mother’s Juice Cafe, Rise Brewing Company, and Powder House Ski & Snowboard for making this “community inspired” video possible.
