I think Scheana is a very good interviewer. She's engaged, let's people talk, asks great questions and is vulnerable as well.
True but could do with a bit less on interrupting.. like w the comments about editors. Kind of coopted that bit " I've been saying that " & talking about her voice etc.

this is somewhat irrelevant to this pod ep but every single time I hear Scheana's daughter's name it makes me so happy. Summer is SUCH A CUTE NAME and literally the only normal name amongst all the VPR kids. I'm so happy that's what she chose, love it.

FYI: the only movie to come out about Elizabeth Holmes was HBO’s documentary The Inventor. I think what you were referencing to was the much-talked about Hulu limited series The Dropout that came out last year.
Both are definitely worth the watch.

Great interview Scheana! And as an almost 60 yr old working mom of 2 girls (24 & 19) - Whitney is right! Mom guilt is brutal! Give yourself Grace sweet friend! Say no when you need to. I see you working so hard! And I know you’re working for your family! But it’s okay to say no. And kick that mom guilt to the curb! You’re a great mom to Summer! Give yourself the same grace you give to others all the time!!! ❤

@@RBandsNBars yes actually I’ve had three kids but I don’t like to be compared to a fish nor do I like the smelly implication. Men have weaponized how our intimate areas smell and use it in conjunction with slutty names or to insinuate we are dirty. I don’t think this fish comparison does us any justice. Especially when some of us already feel self conscious.
