I've recently been listening to singers from the Philippine. This original piece especially on Spotify is particularly pleasant. The notes are clear, the diction is crisp, and it feels like she's really telling a story. Other singers doing covers, for me, are just performing, but this one truly stands out. Just amazing. I wish I had known her sooner.
Her voice is so powerful and her belts are effortless you can't see her struggling.
I actually discover Sheryn (even though I am a Filipino :/) after Morissette singing this song. Both have different styles of singing. Sheryn is more calm and soft, while Mori is more fierce and anger! Love both because they're pride of the Philippines

Great reaction to both fantastic singers. They have different takes and backup arrangements but both (MORI & SHERYN) are fantastic singers, I WOULD NOT LIKE TO COMPARE but to just give credit to the composer of this song where it is due. This composition was originally written in English by Sheryn and reworked by her manager Michiko Unso and Jonathan Manalo her producer added some lines in Tagalog for the song. Sheryn has migrated to the U.S. in 2010 & settled in Houston with her family and since then, she occasionally comes home to do shows & recordings as she is a contract singer of Star Records. Her ex-husband Earl Echiverri is much older than her and used to be her backup keyboard player in her gigs.

2 different verision but the same tune. Hard to choose. I mean no need to choose from. They both did excellent. Respect to the original. Hard to coppy that. So i would say 9.99 for sheryn and 9.98 for mori. By the way. Both are from cebu. No need to compare them.

2016 She was Diagnosed of thyroid Cancer. didn’t matter anymore for Sheryn Regis. Decided to undergo throat surgery due with the possibility that she won’t be able to sing again. Her surgeon take extra care of the surgery while doing surgery Sheryn song was played #ComeInOutOfTheRain as a reminder for her doctor to be meticulous in avoiding anything that would compromise her voice.

Morissette‘s ‚power‘ first take from recording session from July 20th is really fun to watch ! Her vocal performance is awesome as usual and it is extremely entertaining to see her husband Dave Lamar in the background shaking his head in disbelief several times while Mori seems to be very satisfied with herself and is having a lot of fun.

Sheryn performed it live and her emotion was over flowing because the song refers to "herself". She originally wrote the lyrics in English and was translated by her manager and Mr Manalo who is the producer/composer and made it more beautiful.
We just love how the original nailed her own song. She just showed us how the song really needs to be done.

Her voice is i reckon 70% here. She almost lost her voice because of a disease. Back on her peak, she is so untouchable, such a vocal beast.
I have a suggestion for you: JP Leppäluoto. He's a singer from Finland with a really lovely voice.
Sheryn and Morissette are both powerhouse singers but I'll go with Sheryn. She sang it perfectly with emotions and everything. The performance was not overdone.

First the quality of Her Voice is not as good as Morissette's Voice. 2nd She's not able to belt the high notes perfectly!
Her pronunciations of the tagalog word ' Lagalag ' doesn't sound good. I heard
Bisayan accent ! Morissette is also a Bisayan but, She enunciated the sll the Tagalog words perfectly with beautiful Tone. Sheryn doesn't lives in a song so, She does not delivers the message of the song as perfect as what Morissette does that's why MORISSETTE's version us the most favorite piece use by a lot of contestants on various Nationwide Singing Competitions on different TV Stations Shows and even in the Malls. And correct me if i'm wrong i think MORISSETTE
