When you live near the sea, it is probably much to humid for your candy to harden. I know it because I once tried to dry mint leafs in a city by the sea, it was a failure. One of my aunties lived in a dry region, it took 30 min to get dry mint leafs. I would try it in Bridy's outback home.

The fact that you didn't give up trying to make the crystal candy still with a great attitude is just true dedication as a content creator! I love that for you! Even through your failures, you are learning new things about this particular dessert. You didn't give up even when there were people criticizing you for them. And in the end, you had a success!! I think it didn’t work because you need to use agger agger powder and let it sit to crystallize on the outside for a while. I think you have to wait for about a week and I know it’ll take a while, but it will be worth it in the end! Hope this helps.❤
