Anne Marie and I drag race our Yamaha moto4 ATVs on a frozen pond during January snowstorm in Vermont. Moto4 200 versus Moto4 200. Who will win when there's no traction?

Agree.. Mine is the first year made so no suspension and the shaft drive and semi auto make it do good in snow. Suppose to snow tonight here haha

Does anyone know if the 225 cylinder rebuild kit would work on my yfm 200?? Just bolt on kind of deal like normal installation?

To my understanding the answer is yes but I have not tried. I've seen talk in forums saying it will work and finding a 225 cylinder kit is easier than a 200. I plan to try when I need to redo a top end. I'll know for sure then. If you take the plunge and try it let me know if it, in fact, does.

@@VermontLife I think it will bolt up also I guess my main concern is the crank might not be balanced for the 225 rebuild kit. I'm not sure if that would make a difference or not on a small single cylinder engine. I see big bore kits for other 4 wheeler engines and I don't think it mentions it requires the matching balanced crank. So I'm still researching before I jump in on it but I'll definitely keep you updated. Mine was smoking quite a bit I put a Chinese knock off of the vm22 carb but I think it was for a 225. I have it adjusted now so there is less smoke I guess a reasonable amount but I'm still trying to improve on it. I think I'll try the main jet from the old carb. The plug might be fouled by now with all my adjustments lol and I think it could use a valve adjustment. Other than that it runs pretty good can't kill these wheelers they just want to keep running and fun to work on!

@@truckergilligangilligan5877 They are bullet proof with some basic maintenance and can't beat them for simplicity.
