The switch between clean to scream/growl and back. It took her twelfe years of practise to do it like she's doing it now. Perfection. A huge difference from their first songs to what you hear today.

It’s so hard to pick another song to recommend from here. It depends on what you’re in the mood for, since they’re so versatile. “Teacher, Teacher” official video is a good one. But there aren’t any bad ones, honestly.

Something you may not have caught is it was their final song in the set. Considering that, she was still so perfect even though you can hear her exhaustion at the end. She is a talent beyond great

I think that Pisces, while a good "shock value" intro to Jinjer, doesn't really represent their music as a whole. "Teacher, Teacher", "Judgement and Punishment", "Sit Stay Roll Over", "I Speak Astronomy", these offer a bit more of the norm.
The best part about Pisces is it was meant to be an introduction to Vlad's drumming as it was the first recording with him. But because the first minute is all cleans from Tati it throws people off who are introduced to the band with it.
Fell in love with this performance back when first discovering Jinjer and it's still one of my faves 😁👍👍
My favorite to this day is teacher teacher
Pisces is all about the shock factor for first time listeners. This shows much more of what they can do. They really have a lot of great diversity to their songs. Enjoyed the reaction
Clean vocals are a beautiful field of blooming roses.... the growl is a thresher speeding through that same field. Then those roses regrow in seconds!
Keep watching! You will find their entire catalog is amazing, and she WILL become your favorite female vocalist for sure. And doing Jinjer reactions will have the Jinjer faithful flocking to watch. Not a bad trade, all in all. You get more viewers and views, and get to watch an amazing band.

Good reaction. You´re not jumping, Tatiana is at this day the Queen of metal. Pisces is a great song, but this one is "more Jinjer". Check out "Teacher, Teacher", "Outlander" and the live performance of "Who´s Gonna Be The One" to really get the overall feel of the band. And if you want a real heavy and fast banger, "Sit, Stay, Roll Over" will get you there. Keep up the Jinjer train!
I really don't think anyone can hold a candle to Tatiana. There are just no words to express just what an amazing vocalist she is. Check out Who is Gonna Be the One. It's another great one!
Last September, I saw Jinjer live. Tati's gold jumpsuit was on sale for $300, obo at the merch counter.
Tatiana's definitely the BEST Female metal vocalist I've EVER heard!! Jinjer has been #2 on my "to listen to" daily list running a real close 2nd to Parkway Drive for the last 1-2 years. So many other great songs! You're just scratching the surface Brother. Rock On!!

Performances like those make me love the fact that I'm living about an hour away from Wacken, and get to enjoy it every year.
'An open field of beautiful roses' totally in agreement and then for the growls there is a crucifix and you're wrapped in thorns. Couple more videos and they'll be locked in as your #1.

Yo, you've just begun to scratch the Jinjer surface...Teacher! Teacher!, Ape, Pit of Consciousness and many more are all worth checking out. But I would recommend not focusing only on Tatiana's vocals but also how tight the rest of the band is...they are amazing musicians in their own right, namely bassist and drummer.
I think teacher teacher is next. I’ve got a lot of requests for that one!!!

Cool reaction man, excited for you to check out some more songs from Jinjer. There is no shortage of epic material to choose from. Every song is different, and the band has grown and changed some over the years, but not as in better or worse, just different, so its really fun to go own the Jinjer rabbit hole and see how they have evolved. Another really fun live performance to check out next maybe is "who's going to be the one" live in 2017, which is right at the time they shot the Pisces vid you watched. Who's going to be the one is from 2014 off cloud factory album.

I like your reviews - nice insights. As others have said, it's impossible to figure out what they are going to do in the next 15 seconds, much less the next song. The live "Who is gonna be the one?" is great, for something older, "I Speak Astronomy", or any of their songs. Nothing has been a disappointment.

I kind of noticed as well that she uses different techniques for her growls... she's a master at this. Now I wouldn't go too far as to say she's my favourite metal singer but she clearly deserves more recognition - she is also writing the lyrics for the band I think, I'm not 100% sure but yeah the lyrics are pretty good.

How about the best "hard rock" band I've heard in 30yrs? All coming from five beautiful, young, and talented Japanese girls. BAND-MAID!! I saw that "Dice" was requested which is spectacular, but if you prefer live, check out "Domination" from their show on 2-14-2020 @ Line Cube Shibuya, in Tokyo.

Fresh live Jinjer is always best. The live session was brilliant and I love it, but it was only live-ish so it didn't have that same magic they bring on stage. Some songs there isn't a really good live video though, like Teacher Teacher which is probably their most popular song at the moment. Who Is Gonna Be The One official live is a Jinjer classic, great song, great performance.
Love Jinjer and how they blend different styles. Love to see you react to Meshuggah any song. Kings of polyrythem

You should definitely check out Zillakami and SosMula (City Morgue). I recommend watching “Sk8 head, 33rd Blakk Glass, Neckbrace and Draino.” They’re worth checking out dude.

Pisces is one of those songs that gets the love for reactions because the clean verses and screaming choruses get good reactions. And while it is a cool song with excellent melody, its a very basic song. Once you get past Pisces, you start getting into their better material with more to the songs, especially complexity and that progressive styling.
You ever heard of Fit For a King? Their latest single dropped about a month ago. Its called Breaking the Mirror and I highly suggest it!

Tati says about her technique: Don't try this at home 😁 Seriously, she worked on this technique for years and there is no way to do it like her, because you are not she. There are several different approaches but the range from being able to perform like her and destroying your voice forever is pretty narrow. I'm a fan of this band since 2012 and it's getting better and better.
I just watched only 2 reactions from you and I like it. I'd love to hear a bit more about the band, because it's not only Tati that makes Jinjer to one of the best bands in this decade. All of them are so good and dedicated in what they are doing and perform. So many little things the "usual" listener don't really hear (like all this ghost/grace notes from the drummer).
