EMBROIDERY ON A TENNIS RACKET IN ROSENDAL

While being the artist in residence at the Rosendal Retreat in the Free State of South Africa, I created this racket for them.
The patio was my favourite place to work. I would stitch while a herd of cows passed daily and the shepherd sang. You might even hear the cowbells and his voice for a moment.
