Hi mam, one query regarding auditory hypersensitivity. Though my kid is hypersensitive to mixer, cooker sounds, still he seeks sounds by moving chairs, slamming doors and tapping tables, and says how does it sound. Even after working on proprioceptive, he contibues this which makes me understand that he does these tasks for seeking sound. How there can be seeking and avoidibg- how to work on it.

Better Consult a development paediatrician. Normal paediatrician bht kuch miss kar dete hai special baccho ki koi bhi issue treat karne me. Bacche ko koi andar se infection/yeast etc ki taqlif ho sakti hai. Gut health pe asar ho rha hai. Usko pain ho rha hai issiliye rota hai aur weak and uneasy feel kar rha to kisi me interest nhi le rha hai. Agar baccha school/koi jaga kuch time ke liye jata hai aur aapke direct supervision k bahar hota hai to pata kare woha uske sath kya kya activities hoti hai kya wo achha lagta hai ya uncomfortable feel karta hai,bully etc to nhi ho rha hai. Humere bacche batake express nhi kar pate agar kuch accha nhi lag rha hai/dar rha hai kahi pe.
Thanks for reply Nandita actually he is having limited speech to express pains and one thing he is having very bad cold because of adenoids he is getting frequent ear infections and having behaviour issues if he want to go out to buy anything without telling to any one he goes out next we have to search for him
Mouth se sound : Auditory issue/ mouth k Inside pressure seeking/boredom/attention seeking/managing oneself in a sensory overwhelming situation . Solution: Ear cupping (auditory). 2 steel glass leke dono ear pe 15 count Tak rakhna hai aur 5 count Tak glass hatake break Dena hai. Repeat 3-5 times in each set. Ab baccha jada kar rha hai to din me 3 times pura process follow karna hai. Oromotor exercises, blowing,sucking,rooting exercises (if pressure seeking inside mouth) Distract the child and engage him (if boredom is the cause, baccha free baitha hai). Baccha jada kar rha hai sirf aur sirf Attention seeking k liye to ignore initially. Aur baad me bacche ko picture dikhake samjhana hai ki dusre bacche aise nhi karte, Papa/Mummy/Ghar k dusre log nhi karte to ye nhi karna hai. Baccha agar new situation/overcrowded area/jada light and sound wali area pe Jake kar rha hai to ho sake usko barbar distract,joint compression aur hi-five etc karke lost na hone de aur bacche ko woha taqlif ho rhi hai to jaga change kare. Agar pata hai ki wo jaga pe aise hi honewala hai to bht pehele se picture and video dikhake usko mentally prepare karde ki woha kyn ja rhe hai, kya karna hai aur kaise rhena hai. Retained Spinal Galant reflex vi vocal stimming ki aur ek reason hai. So integration exercises karna hai. Visual stimming k liye bht sara tracing wali activity, lazy 8 pe tracing, racket se ballon hitting etc bht sari tracing activity hai Kara sakte coloring ,matching, sorting, odd one out, mazing ye sab kuch visual stimming Kam karne me bht help karti hai. Kuch kuch retained primitive reflex bhi responsible hota hai(ATNR,TLR,STNR).

Mam my son 7 year old he is a quick learner he was doing excercises what ever i say he did very perfectly bt suddenly from 2 months on wards he is not showing any interest in any activity he cries a lot lot and becoming very thin by his crying only what is the solution
Better Consult a development paediatrician. Normal paediatrician bht kuch miss kar dete hai special baccho ki koi bhi issue treat karne me. Bacche ko koi andar se infection/yeast etc ki taqlif ho sakti hai. Gut health pe asar ho rha hai. Usko pain ho rha hai issiliye rota hai aur weak and uneasy feel kar rha to kisi me interest nhi le rha hai.
Agar baccha school/koi jaga kuch time ke liye jata hai aur aapke direct supervision k bahar hota hai to pata kare woha uske sath kya kya activities hoti hai kya wo achha lagta hai ya uncomfortable feel karta hai,bully etc to nhi ho rha hai. Humere bacche batake express nhi kar pate agar kuch accha nhi lag rha hai/dar rha hai kahi pe.
Thanks for reply Nandita actually he is having limited speech to express pains and one thing he is having very bad cold because of adenoids he is getting frequent ear infections and having behaviour issues if he want to go out to buy anything without telling to any one he goes out next we have to search for him

Mouth se sound : Auditory issue/ mouth k Inside pressure seeking/boredom/attention seeking/managing oneself in a sensory overwhelming situation .
Solution: Ear cupping (auditory). 2 steel glass leke dono ear pe 15 count Tak rakhna hai aur 5 count Tak glass hatake break Dena hai. Repeat 3-5 times in each set. Ab baccha jada kar rha hai to din me 3 times pura process follow karna hai.
Oromotor exercises, blowing,sucking,rooting exercises (if pressure seeking inside mouth)
Distract the child and engage him (if boredom is the cause, baccha free baitha hai).
Baccha jada kar rha hai sirf aur sirf Attention seeking k liye to ignore initially. Aur baad me bacche ko picture dikhake samjhana hai ki dusre bacche aise nhi karte, Papa/Mummy/Ghar k dusre log nhi karte to ye nhi karna hai.
Baccha agar new situation/overcrowded area/jada light and sound wali area pe Jake kar rha hai to ho sake usko barbar distract,joint compression aur hi-five etc karke lost na hone de aur bacche ko woha taqlif ho rhi hai to jaga change kare. Agar pata hai ki wo jaga pe aise hi honewala hai to bht pehele se picture and video dikhake usko mentally prepare karde ki woha kyn ja rhe hai, kya karna hai aur kaise rhena hai.
Retained Spinal Galant reflex vi vocal stimming ki aur ek reason hai. So integration exercises karna hai.
Visual stimming k liye bht sara tracing wali activity, lazy 8 pe tracing, racket se ballon hitting etc bht sari tracing activity hai Kara sakte coloring ,matching, sorting, odd one out, mazing ye sab kuch visual stimming Kam karne me bht help karti hai. Kuch kuch retained primitive reflex bhi responsible hota hai(ATNR,TLR,STNR).

Hello mam & fellow parents , my son is 5 years old and been taking OT past 2 years but still he's finding it difficult & refuses to wear shirt , shorts ,shoes ,there's almost no day he wears everything & play school also they cannot keep a child removing clothes to be comfortable. I'm doing body massage ,joint compressions but there's not much difference . Has anyone faced this issue can you please help ?
